Shitara is the NR holder in Japan. Tadese's last half was in April of 2016.

I can't find women's results. Weren't Sara Hall and Edna Kiplagat running?

Here are the women's results. Betsy Saina won in 69:17 Sara Hall was 6th in 71:25.
