Hi guys,
After years of phuqing around, I've finally gotten myself committed to finishing a 4 year degree In a field I'm really inclined to. The problem is, I'm 28 and by the time I'm finished I'll be 32/33.
Will I be at a disadvantage relative to the twenty something graduates that will be in the labor market? To be more specific, would prospective employers prefer younger graduates than older graduates? The only thing I've going for me is I've had some very basic management experience working as a night time supervisor/manager in retail.
Has anyone here gotten off to a relatively late start and found success in the job market after? Is my situation uncommon? Have I started too late and is it common to see people in their late 20's pursuing an undergraduate degree?
Sorry for all the questions; just anxious to hear other people's insight and experience.
Btw, I'm looking to major in economics with a minor in math possibly
Really appreciate any help or answers
