1 Hassan, Sifan Nike Oregon Project 8:34.45R 4
2 Flanagan, Shalane Nike Bowerman TC 8:43.28R 4
3 Yee, Regan Trinity Western 8:58.29 4

5 Green, Claire Arizona 9:14.37 4
6 Hawthorn, Natalia British Columbia 9:15.76 4

Shalane's time is equivalent to 15:00 for 5000; very impressive for a long-of-tooth marathoner in January!
Hassan 8:34, Shalane 8:43!!

Crazy, 4 races in 1. And I guess Shalane is doing the speed first marathon build up for Boston.
-
PEDs?
-
Boston watch 2018: Shalane stock rising, Hasay stock declining.

Bomba strikes again!

Well Hassan is listed on the Fancy Bears list. -
And so was Shalane and Jager.

Proper training and not believing that's old?
Ever hear of Carlos Lopes? -

Can people stop bringing up Fancy Bears. While I beilive many of the athletes on the list have doped, it's pretty clear it was a failed slander campaign. The document "leaked" were either fake or taken out of the context they were meant for. I really want the proof that Mo Farah has doped to leak out (come on, a consistent 13:10 ish runner for most of his 20s then at age 28 becomes the best in the world, ah what?), but the british run IAAF has done a good job at hidding it. -

How about an automatic message board ban for people who make unfounded doping accusations?
They seem to ruin many decent threads. -

I bet you were the one crying clean when Hasay ran her 10,000 race pace for a marathon. ?

HA.
This board would cease to exist. -

Hasay's 10,000 PR is 31:39. That's 3:10 per kilo. That's 2:13 marathon pace. Maybe you want to correct/qualify your comment. But about Flanagan, she ran a 3,000 equivalent to 15:00 for 5,000--what's the big deal? We just had seven Ethiopians, a country where out of competition testing is practically non-existent, and we're getting our panties in a bunch over 15. Good heavens! -
Missed a clause--oops! Seven Ethiopians run 2:04. My apologies.

Sifan Hassan was on the atypical ABP list.
Shalane Flanagan was not on the atypical ABP list.
There were ZERO female runners from the USA or Britain on the list.
