Considering that all that is left of the original pair of Epics is a slab of REACT foam and a bare flyknit upper, they have become minimal flats... and 6.7oz each in size 10. They feel a lot like flyknit racers now.

I think pretty cool at least in 2018
I'm 200 miles into mine and expect them to last 400. I don't think durability is a huge issue. Traction is indeed pretty bad. I wear them on my easy runs and easy/long runs, though I might start wearing them for fast finish long runs. Basically, I wanted something softish but light for easy road running and this fits the bill nicely.
How did you remove the lace reinforcement panel?
