I'm not reading any more into "More than a minute behind Huddle". It's a fact! Huddle is REALLY GOOD!! No shame in being beat by her. As you may or may not know, if one or both of these girls are preparing for a spring marathon (Jordan is for sure, not sure about Huddle) this race is clearly a glorified 'Time Trial'. I guarantee you there is a plan and process in place to set up for a fast spring marathon. As most trollers on this thread are clueless about, it's very tough not to be tempted to back off and completely rest for races leading up to a major race (Boston). Obviously you want to win them all but the main goal is to run well and achieve your goal given where you are in the training plan. Jordan ran a PB and is clearly on pace to improve at Boston this year. Huddle is also in a great spot for a spring marathon and is primed to run well if that's her plan.

LRCers know that putting the name Jordan Hasay in their thread title automatically means 20 posts.

Hasay is quickly becoming the biggest name in track & field and the haters are helping her out with this.

I love both of these girls. They are 2 of the best Americans of all time. How could anyone say anything negative about either of them when they both seem so nice. Huddle is obviously better than Hasay but they are both incredible.

Hasay is likely training through the Houston race, and looking for a good Boston result.

Unsure the time indicates that Hasay is on track to improve in Boston. Jordan has turned into a great marathoner with a spectacular 2017 but Huddle is the better runner ( significantly better times from 5k-21k). We’ll see how close or far apart they are in the marathon at Boston. On paper, Huddle should crush Hasay in the short term but Hasay will have time on her side. Though I have a feeling Hasay will not improve much if at all. If she does than good for her.

Of course she is still training for Boston as is Huddle but she was targeting the AR in this race so nice try on the damage control. Hasay fanatics can admit she has an off race like everyone else once in awhile.

Hardly. She;s tougher them most and probably you. Her 1:08 is probably indicative of a 2:2:XX because she has so much stamina and toughness. She has proved this in both of her marathons.

Hassay ran Houston in training shoes...seems like a deliberate choice one would make.
