I'm glad you are supporting me, I think we can be friends. I get hassled about grammar by them trolls. It is good that some one is backing me up. I will remember you. Sometimes I'm in the middle of driving some where, so it is easy to make a typo.

One of my guys set a school record for picking up a girl.
He was injured and not able to run, but he was able to walk and we had him as one of our squad for the racewalking event in the conference relay meet. They had the women's event and the men's go at the same time, and while my guy was walking he fell into step with one of the female competitors from another school. They started talking and obviously hit it off right away. By the end of the race he'd gotten (and memorized) her number.
His teammates were deeply impressed. Legend in his own time.

You expect us to believe some school has a RW Relay???
It is stupid. If your injured then you couldn't race walk. Your gait for walking would be harder to do properly then running ironically. I find that when I'm sore it is literally easy to start jogging and eventually loosen up. But before hand, when I'm walking, I feel like I'm limping. Some times the day after a hard session or race, I could be limping. It just isn't possible to walk properly. When I go for a recovery run I seem to be able to run(starts out really slower), but I get lose, and eventually feel better, and can go faster then. So ironically I think race walking would be harder then running when your sore or injured. Hard to imagine but it's true. I guess that is why running is literally a way of recovering ironically.

Before the race? At the start line? Finish area?
During the race. I jumped in on the last lap of a mile race at a girls track meet, and demonstrated my masculine superiority by crossing the line first. I'm such a born winner.
not exactly on point but:
Went to Princeton to officiate a multi-day meet with a fellow official back in the 1970s . We were both in our thirties. Went out for something to eat and drink the night before and met a group of liberated Princeton girls at a local joint. Ended up with two of them in our room that night. It became a regular thing and they came to my town staying at my apartment 5 or 6 weekends over the next year. Uncomplicated casual fun in the world after bra burning and before AIDS.
Hows about a date?
The above post is why one should not engage in pre-marital sex. There are worse stories of this kind of thing.
Actually the writer of this post got off lucky.

How did it all go down?
Are you still together?
never a "girl" but a young women- 20s- MILFs- & on two memorable occasions in Clearwater GMILFS.
regarding the last named, it "went down" into soft silver & fleecey mound of musky summer 5K pubes, and it was AWESOME.
Few years ago met a girl in athlete village waiting for the race. Super cute, pretty fast, turned out she was staying at the same hotel. Met up post race and had some fun but she ended up getting too drunk and her friend carried her out of the lobby bar. Kind of bummed I missed out but the friend ended up coming back down and we hung out for the remainder of the night. I'm not sure if that is a good friend or not but it was a good friend in my book.
