If a 12k XC race was added to the Winter Olympics on a fairly tough course (but obviously with at least *some* snow on the ground), who would stand the best chance of being able to medal in existing events at the Summer Games as well as the new XC event at the Winter Games?
Name the runners who would have the best chances at medals in both Summer Olympics and XC at Winter Olympics

Jordan Hasay

Garrett Heath.

Not a runner, but Canada's Clara Hughes has won summer and winter Olympic medals in cycling and cross country skiing. I think the number of dual medallists is pretty small.

Bekele (how exciting would a Bekele XC return be)
Kipchoge
Rupp
Kamworor
Cheptegei
Maybe Ben MF True.
Garrett Heath loves cross but wouldn't pick him for the track, -

Well it's a nonexistent event so it's safe to say everyone won't go -
Why are people picking Rupp? Don't they realize a winter XC course is not possibly Rupp certified?
