Actually, he looks heavy and labored. He is great because even though he is there right now--aging, not at his best--he has thrown down the hammer and destroyed the competition. I appreciate his struggle.

And if that's not enough for you, go to 55:56.
more of the
"diane kruger" effect
more logic :
"400 has to have some equivalent of 800
->
44.00 = 1'40.00 or 1'42.00 or 1'44.00
i'm not any intended fairy godmutha, but your late xmas present is :
logic
->
44.00 = 1'42.00
this allows you historically to ascertain how p!ss-weak 800 runs are, inevitably from crap pacing in last 30y
( albeit, i'd suggest best 800 talent is running 1500 & fractional at 400, except when Korir runs 43.34R !!! )
...
The question was not : 'If you smoked crack tonight tell us your stream of consciousness"

i have no fuucking idea what the diane kruger effect is
Is this a joke???
Because drugs bruh.
In running, as all sports, genetics rules. No other explanation is needed

So how come all of these 'genetically superior' runners become nobodies in a few years? Why don't they run amazing times when they are 45,50,55 etc? They should be ables to do that on low mileage right?
I don't know where you get your 800, 1500 and 3000 times from?
They would be faster than that in the right 800 and 1500 and slower in the 3000. KB tried many times in the 3000 and never got close to Komen's time. Komen's race had the perfect pace making. Haven't you figured this out yet?

Burnout & injuries. Why aren't genetic freaks Alan Webb or Chris Solinski running anymore? Answer: Burnout & injury. Nick Symmonds had to hang up his mid-d cleats at the young age of 33 because of injury. It happens to the best; even the greatest genetic freak of all, Rudisha is banged up and had to miss this year's WCs.

Because genetics break down too.
You might as well ask why they aren't immortal too.

The only one I can think of that is actually superhuman with unheard of genetics is Lagat. I envision he'll be running sub-14s well into his 70s.
1.
the kenyan 400m record was the first due to epo , after seeing what stuff was doing in states in this event
and most stayed with longer distances after .
2.
korir is a doper , very simple , IGF-1 lr3 is magic especially for the longer legged athlete
lagat is one of the dirtiest ever to the very end of career , again same peptide saves nervous system ,
so not longevity of genetics here again just doping .
3.
any apologist in the bekele camp against doping will use the same excuses that see for all of them just like bolt.
genetics , big stride length ,form , mental toughness etc . to be best has these but their are levels and a spectrum to them
and how to enable them and put them all together with training , and crucially the aerobic nature of event .
like you see here with sprinters , people try to copy their form when not seeing whole picture and end up slower.
yes he has good form and leads to somewhat big stride for height but all pointless if not fast
and pointless without the dope
and the dope enables such form as see in sprinting , more power can let a sprinter chop stride etc
more energy , muscle ,coordination , less lactate , less injuries , better training
all let body hit those shapes . good form does not equals fast .
he has been a pharmacological project of manager from 2002 and still is , with best dope going , speed peptide et all
dont forget that all athletes on cera were given carte blanche by iaaf and told to be off of it by summer 2008
as that test was sensitive to over 40 days , all except scape -GOAT of ramzi with conditions could keep world titles
and no one would be tested prior to date . sure wariner never same after date and would of one that olympics otherwise.
cera=goat =wariner is his genetics great , was he faster after gave up the dope and wouldnt risk other ways in states.
4.
as for the 25k video from calcutta ,
convinced made bekele look better than was in race , and indians not so, why was he there anyway .
you gave two times and well editted and lots of time missing from
when broke from others , downhill, and he looked faster when passing alot of indian hobbyjoggers
who were running at fast walking pace .
yes for afew minutes at end motoring but saved tank to do so and slowed alittle to end .
impressed with indian who came fourth too .
C'mon man..."aduck2022" knows his stuff and provides very insightful information. I'd rather read his posts than the arrogant posts from that pretentious calculo character who always illicits hostility. I look forward to aduck2022's analysis of the PED situation - it's kind of interesting and makes one think.
