Sorry, I meant to reply to this earlier. As I understand it, the 400 is one of their budget walking/running shoes and not really intended for "serious" runners (e.g. the LRC crowd). Yes, a huge heel from looking at it. I'm sure it doesn't have the new midsole material either, though that's not critical to it being a good shoe or not. For serious training, you'd want to look at the GoRun Ride (neutral) or the GoRun Forza (stability) for a cushioned trainer, or the GoRun or the GoMeb Razor for a light, fast trainer (like the Kinvara). The latter two shoes are very similar and it's not clear why they offer both -- the Razor is a touch firmer and has a stretchy upper but they are otherwise nearly identical. The GoMeb Speed is their racing shoe, though it has been on the somewhat heavy side for this category. But the 2018 version of the GoMeb Speed with the new midsole material is supposed to be much, much lighter and I'm looking forward to checking it out.

Just got a Go Run 400 pair, as my wife purchased a pair of Sketchers shoes and I just picked up mine because they were half price.
Haven't run in them yet, but walking around, it feels like the heel is elevated....weird.
Not sure if that new foam you're talking about is in there or not. I bet my achilles would ache if I ran a decent length, though....lol.
Going to stick with my other running shoes for now.
