He does not have her long-term interests in mind. You do not have a distance runner do
a workout after a race. Why are you continually adding stress to the Anaerobic System?
It is limited by the Aerobic system.
After a race, for the mind and the body, you should return to doing recovery runs, if only for a day.
Then, if you are smart, you can work on the system that needs the most work. Obviously if you are peaking you might go to more speed endurance work.
If not why not do some speed development for a day? One does not develop speed by doing 200 meter repeats and longer unless they are of the "broken" type. To develop speed the repeats must be shorter than 100 meters...........
It seems to me that Salazar would like his 20-something runners to have a heart attack like he did, only he wants them to have it earlier than he did!
I think Salazar is so close to the forest, he cannot see the trees! Rupp could have been a giant in the 5000 meter run but you run out of gas if don't fill the tank once in a while. Mentally and physically he ruins his runners. Just because you ran fast does not mean you can coach and he is proving that.
Jordan Hasay should leave Salazar behind.

I've read similar things like what I am saying on LRC. I just never knew the NOP was as bad as it is.
You've just ran a personal best in the mile or even an American record in the 2 mile and he wants you down at the track doing mile repeats, followed by 600-400-400-200 or whatever?
Please explain how that helps any runner? -

Wow, great points. You sound like you've coached numerous Olympic medalists, multiple gold, several American and European record holders, countless national champions, and several of the fastest American marathoners of all time, both male and female.
Oh wait, that's me. -
She's the best American marathon runner now. Why leave.

For a while now, people on LRC consistently seem to act like she's attractive, and I don't get it - unless it's a sort of troll/inside joke thing that I'm not understanding. -

Sublimation. They disguise their inherent pedophilia by expressing lust for woman who looks like a 10 year old girl. -

She'a attractive- what are you talking about? -
If it ain't broke don't fix it.

It’s too late. Jordan crossed over after the 2016 OT. No going back.

He coached a gold medalist? Please name that person?
Matt Centrowitz was coached by his dad. Mo Farah was coached by Great Britain.
Both of those guys were able to avoid Salazar that is why they won. -

That is where all the 'gray area' training comes in. I'm sure that, like Rupp, Hasay also suffers from several diseases and conditions that warrants TUEs, EPO, other people's prescriptions, Testosterone cream massages, and pills hidden in books. -
You're about 5 years late on this, bud. I can't even remember the last time I heard about one of their post-race workouts. Do they even still do those?

December 9, 2015 post race workout was posted on the net. That was 2 years ago, and eventually Cain was destroyed.

Yeah.... look, I'm trying to understand, believe me. I'm not trolling at all. She is not ugly, or anything. But she is not attractive, either. And that photo looks like she's 10. Her butt looks like a little boy's. I just don't get it. -

I don't really get it either. She is kinda cute and I'm sure would have no problem finding a significant other, but it's weird that people are gawking over her like she is a super model or something. -

It's true there are different kinds of women. I would bet on Jordan Hasay's beauty lasting longer than the average buxum beauty~~~unless that is she stays with NOP. I fear they will ruin her. -

Just because they are not posting the workouts on the internet does not mean they are not still doing them. I know for a fact that the 6 x mile workout that Rupp did after his 2 mile world record was much more recent than 2012. In fact without looking it up I think it was 2015 when he did it. -
From what I heard Salazar say after Hasay ran 4:25 and Cain ran 4:28 for the mile, he does not understand basic speed development. You do not develop speed by running beyond 100 meters.
(That is not to say that you could not do it by running broken sprints such as 400s, 300s, and 200s. An example of a broken 400 that might develop speed is to do a sprint-float-sprint for 400 meters. But choosing a 200 for that would be far better. 5 x 75, 5 x 60, 5 x 50 type stuff would be better yet. The Ethiopians often run short uphills after long runs. This enables some to run 27 second final 200s in a 10K. Arthur Lydiard is credited for this as it was the last country he work in.)
Now I am certainly not with Salazar daily. But Rupp and Hasay appear to have the qualities to run shorter distances than the marathon. It seems that they were not trained properly for those distances.
Mo Farah was influenced by the systems in Great Britain. Matt Centrowitz was influenced far more by Matt Centrowitz, SR. Tell why Salazar is such a great coach? Give a proof.
Jordan Hasay does not need to lose weight!!!
