Its what I'm hearing. Can anyone confirm?

Hamish is a NZ Olmpian and is also track fit, given the seasonal structure in the Southern Hemisphere.
Pretty sure I saw Johnny Gregorek (sp?) run a sub 4 at a BU mini meet.
And they have the Commonwealth Games in April so those folks are gearing up with qualifying marks and team selections, proving fitness, etc.
CORY MCGEE ran personal best mile time New Balance Boston 4:27.67 indoor.

I mean BU is like a damn trampoline. If you don't run fast at BU (not sure about anything under the 800), something is wrong with yu lol
Not a shabby 3,000 from Julian Oakley either.
I had a great time at the meet today, was shocked to see that 7:43. And surprising to see other elites running so fast.
And the track is way faster than anything I've ever run on. Incredible.

Were you the Jamison running 21.57? If so, major props!
That track is definitely short.
Unfortunately no, that's not me. He is fast though
OMG not another Trampoline Track! It's an epidemic!
I am amazed by the fact that an indoors all-comers' exists anywhere. Dempsey/UW used to put on meets with fairly relaxed standards, but now if you can't run a 4:13 mile as an open athlete the door is closed tight. The concept of heats with loads of miles over 5:00 is alien to us on the Wet Coast.

I agree with this. I scour direct athletics and beg college meet directors to let me in as a 30 year old unattached dude who can beat some college dudes. It would be fun to see a lot more open to the public indoor meets around the country. These all comers races could be marketed to the masses as speedwork to help you prepare for a Boston Qualifier (BQ).
Come south to the winter and run meets at JDL Fast Track. We allow unattached athletes in our college meets. Have even seen some 50 year old women who can be competitive with some of the D2 and D3 kids.

Yes. The Open is now more competitive to get in to than the Preview was a few years ago. And the Classic and Invite have strict standards of 4:04 and 4:08 . The problem isn't the meets themselves (they're just executing on supply & demand), but the fact that those 4 meets are the only ones on the entire West Coast.
I understand many non-collegiate guys are salty because they can't get in to the Preview with a 4:14.01 while a random community college guy with a 4:38 may get it in. But think about how generous it is for collegiate meets to let in non-collegiates in the first place. No other college sport does this. College basketball doesn't allow random street ball players to enter their games. College football doesn't allow random post-collegiate flag football players to walk on to the field.
You can't compare team sports to individual sports, totally different formats and abilities to incorporate different levels competitors. Although college club sports, team sports, which can often be high level competition (albeit not NCAA DI level) teams compete against non-college teams at times. Locally I'm thinking Rugby, Field Hockey, Football, Ice Hockey, probabluy others.
On the NCAA level, College skiing has meets all the time where non-college athletes compete. College XC, we race at least a couple of Invitationals and open meets in Sept/Oct with non-college athletes, Mayor's Cup for example. College bowling a lot of events are open to college bowlers and non-college bowlers.
Results show mixed race (M/W) so no WIC 2018 qualifier for McGee:

They ran the second section with all women so I think it will count as a qualifier
