Anyone else watching this race?
I'd be interested in doing this race but am not a morning guy. How tough is it with the jet lag and the early start? -

Are you literally the weakest weakling in running? -

Thanks for the update *eye roll* -
Honolulu is such a joke of a course!!! Have fun watching the elites as they take advantage of a total slip 'n slide of a course. Talk to me when they can run that fast without all that rain and wind to help benefit them! How is this even records eligible???!

Great points, without even mentioning the heat. Why is it even legal to absorb all that solar energy? They can run at politically correct SoMax and emit dreaded CO2 and nobody even complains, because it's the birthplace of the Sainted Obama! -

0/10
Hills, rain and wind all hurt you more than the help you at this race. Not to mention very high humidity with 70+ temperatures. -

Maybe, one of the stupidest things ever said on LR. How exactly does the rain help? Because it reduces the humidity from 80% to 70? And does the wind help in both directions of the out and back? Heat, humidity and hills make for a challenge in the real world.
Men's winner was 2:08:30, women's 2:22:12. Very impressive wins on a tough course. -
Cherono sets men's course record at 2:08 after winning the Amsterdam marathon Oct.of this year in 2:05. And Kosgei set the women's course record at 2:22 after running second in Oct. at this year's Chicago marathon in 2:20!
Another example of great Kenyan running: hard work and the ability to perform. -
just maybe... wrote:

And also not too bright. New York is 5 hours ahead of Hawaii so it shouldn’t be a problem waking early from ‘the jet lag’. Since you obviously can’t do the math the 5 am start time would be 10 am eastern.
If you keep to your home time zone should be too hard. But hey, the original statement could have been posted from Japan.
