Hooters should sponsor the race next year.
These are runners. Hooters Junior?
She's just trying to be sassy. Kinda like when she used to chew gum when she raced.

I usually don't care what people wear and I don't think this has anything to do with showing class. But she is holding the finishing tape, so she is acting in an official capacity. It's like a high school basketball ref wearing jeans and a tee shirt, it brings down the importance of the event for the participants.
It's Footlocker. The important race was NXN last week.
I respect both races, but this was funny!

Thank you for being an ambassador to the sport, first and foremost. However, I feel strongly that cutoff jean shorts are not the professional attire that you should be wearing at the Footlocker National Championship.

9/10.....well done OP. Got the natives all riled up and we are now 5 pages in. This is the best troll job I've seen in quite some time.

Thanks. Kind of funny to see what really twists people up, isn't it? Honestly, I wouldn't care if she wore a clown costume- I think she's a great ambassador for the sport.

You guys have no right to comment on how she dresses. Frankly it's very offensive. Maybe you wouldn't understand because you're an old fart with an ugly wife and you're from a conservative crap pit of the USA with rednecks where you're used to being able to dictate how women dress, but in places like Boulder Colorado and California, women have power and anything goes. It's a totally different culture. Let women dress however they choose for christs sake
You sound like a fascist. Are you in favor of eliminating free speech? WTF?
Also, are you suggesting that EC and women in general are compelled to dress in accordance with LR dictates? LR is not “letting” them dress as they like?
WTF?
You should understand that the First Amendment (free speech) protects an individual from having government stifle their protected speech.
Support for "free speech" has very little to do with a private individual calling out and condemning another individual for their statements on a public message board. Actually, that is the essence of free speech, the "marketplace of ideas".
Try and keep up, Moran.

I think you might want to read my post and the post I quoted. You are confused. But that’s probably not an unfamiliar feeling for you I’m guessing.
Poor Emma has a limited shelf life as an Ambassador. It is a good thing that she is an elite runner that is making good money because she is not hireable for a position of importance.
She is either:
1. Trying to be relatable to the kids.
2. Trying to show off her body.
3. Just trying to be comfortable.
All of which are just fine for a Hooters Girl and all are a huge failure for a woman that is trying to be an executive with a major company.
For those of you that say that this was not a job interview, let me explain that after you graduate from College every public appearance is a job interview. Show me any woman who is a CEOS of a major corporation that you can find in daisy Dukes as an adult? Not likely.

But she isn't the CEO of a corporation. She's a professional athlete- she can wear what she wants. She's fine and you losers are making way too big a deal out of nothing.
As long as that is her lifetime goal then she is fine. It just seems silly to limit her possibilities 10 years from now. I lost a job at a Fortune 500 company because I worked at Hooters during College. True story. The fact that ANYONE sees something wrong with her seems silly to me but it could cost her.
I doubt that Nike or Saucony would be happy with Hasay or Huddle dressing like that at a sponsor event for HIGH SCHOOL kids.
I don't want my daughter dressing like that.

Ummm, Yeah! I am sure the participants really give two shits what the tape holder is wearing. LOL
Emma, be a good example to high school kids
Won't somebody think of the children!

Recently? In this climate you could threaten a lawsuit and likely settle out of court. #metoo
If Emma were in college it would just be a kid being a kid. By 27 you should act like an adult.
Also, pics?
I'm sure everyone at the race, including her sponsors, was quite happy with how Emma looked and was dressed and that the HS kids were just happy she was there. Only on LetsRun does anyone complain about something like this and pretend to be outraged..
Dude come on
Who cares
Get a life!!!
