I also had a problem with it. Those shorts could have been a few inches shorter. What was she thinking?! How horrible she is! Just awful!! Or, the OP has way too many things bothering him or her. Get a freakin life!

So I agree with the OP on Emma, not the correct outfit for a running related event. Should have gone for the current NB kit with those sweet neon bottoms and rocking the gold medal.

I think she looks great and I can bet every freaking one of the kids she meet and interacted with were stoked as hell to have spent some time with her, and not one f*ck was given about her shorts (except to admire what great legs she has).

She wanted to show off her legs, not her medal. Low class & very selfish

Represented her body and NOT New Balance.

Depends on you look on it. Much as these companies exploit child slave labor in other nations, they exploit the talent and marketability of people like Emma...all to make the almighty buck.

I think she is dressed plenty professional for the occasion. She is conveying that she is down to Earth and relatable to your average recreational runner, which makes her way more marketable.

In Boulder and in Cali women don't have to cover up as much. In St Louis and in most places letsrun people post from they do.

Professional dress codes are for wage slaves. Coburn is far, far more valuable to her employer than her employer is to her. When you're one of the few people for whom that is the case, you get to wear what you want, like jean shorts on a hot day. Imagine that!
