After some consultation internally, I changed the title of the thread to make it better match what Salvador Capetillo posted.
The initial title was "Another runner left CU because of racism".

You cannot make derogatory comments about one of your teammates on a public forum and not expect to be disciplined. Dude needs to be smarter about what he posts on social media. There is no racism in this case.
im starting to think that you are a undercover liberal mr utah.
its like those republicans that are soooooo against gays, and then they get caught pounding out a gay in their office.
you didnt answer my question utah, why are you defending boulderites? you do realize it is pretty much the Valhalla for elitist trustfund hipster millennial liberals, which i would think is the kind of liberal you hate the most. but surprisingly you take the liberal side if you have to choose between white and brown. sell out your ideals cause of skin color, thats pretty weak sauce.
can you please inform us what you know? if he did as you say he is a tool and for him to call the race card is super low budget. but that still wont make me think any diff of boulder, it will still be the worthless liberal cesspool that its been celebrated to be.

You need to address your self hate. Truly bizarre.
Can't have it both ways Al Frankin

Wasn't John Dressel the one who made comments about how "Sukhi Khosla doesn't look like he's from here"? Not surprised at all this is happening on the CU team, and I suspect a forum full of white boys won't provide an unbiased view on the topic.
you should change the title to "Resident Idiots John Utah and mindweak have no idea of what happened at CU, bash liberals and stick to their dogma 'racism does not exist' "

Yup. Looks like they recruited a winner who won't put up with "racism".
He’s never encountered racism so how can he put up with it?
I've watched you post a lot of dumb stuff before John, but this is the dumbest. You have literally no idea what's happened. no information whatsoever on what he experienced while at CU, or before. How can you make the claim that "he's never encountered racism?" Do you just flat-out believe that racism does not exist whatsoever?

Can't you say the same thing about yourself, dipshit? You're supporting someone bashing good people at CU without knowing the details.
I enjoy seeing two idiots argue with each other. Please carry on, both of you.

don't forget Coach Whitemore
Wow. I am shocked by a lot of these responses.
I recommend that people read up on what it feels like to be subjected to racism. It seems likely that it’s happening. I’d bet it’s coming from a small number of people. But it’s happening.
There’s enough stress in college to deal with to also have to manage what could be something ongoing.
There’s a lot of knee jerk reactions. The racism could be from conservatives and liberals. It’s not this kids vs. Wetmore.

Most of us are waiting to hear what the details are, not flat out denying anything happened without getting details. Do you understand how this works? You get information and then make a conclusion, not the other way around.

The answer to your question is that I use my brain. Facts, logic and reason are applied to individual cases. I defend truth, reason and common sense wherever it exists. My brain is not overwhelmed by prejudice and irrational emotion.
If you think i'm defending republicans who have engaged in wrongdoing then you are confusing me with someone else....not that this has anything to do with the issue at hand.
What facts are you using in this individual case? That you think that all minorities race bait and never experience racism? Do you see the logical inconsistency there?
If Lalo leaves it will be a very bad look. The other two leaving can be explained away. Lalo had the most success/improvement of any CU runner this season so would not, in theory, be looking to leave.
If Dressel made those other comments, it isnt good. But Dressel also had IG posts up of him and Rocha after summer training, saying he was excited for what Rocha was going to do this year. And he seems to at least be pretty close to Lalo. But that comment is pretty bad, and would be indicative of the subtle racism that probably is pervasive in Boulder.
Klecker mentioned in an interview after one of the year-end races it being a tough year for a lot of reasons. Seems like its continuing and athletes fighting on social media back doesnt make it better necessarily.

What? And exactly what are you doing? How can you make the claim that he has encountered racism when you know nothing of the situation? Do you not see the outrageous hypocrisy in your statement to me. Are you kidding, or are you just that ignorant?
It's certainly possible Rocha and Capetillo are telling the truth as they see it, but going about it in such a way as to cast guilt upon the entire team comes across in such a way that creates doubt regarding the validity of their claims.
If you're going to call someone out for such a serious transgression, you need to be specific about the details. Who all exactly is guilty of racist comments/slurs and what exactly was said? Throwing the entire team under the bus is irresponsible and cowardly, although that doesn't mean they aren't telling the truth.
