If the Irish continue to spoil this thread, an auld fella in ecoli's little group of hobbyjoggers (with two job titles in HP and a very inflated impression of his own abilities on the internal network) will lose his his job - you wanna play?

So running fans, who have seen so much doping throughout the sport, throughout EVERY sport, are the ones who are guilty of "mental doping"?
Talk about blaming the victim.
I am going with 50% chance SM is doped, v. say, 90% for Kimetto's record, or 90% for the outlandish women's 10000 record. Great performance by Sondre, but we are living with our eyes wide open in 2017.
Right, besides how can Renato vouch 100% that Moen hasn't done anything untoward? How would he know ? You can bet that if/when things go south for Moen that's the first thing that will come out his Renato's mouth "I don't understand, I'm very disappointed but I wasn't with him 24 hours a day". You read it here first.

Those doping allegations are as predictable as they are pathetic.
Everybody knows EPO does not work for the top runners born at latitude.
Of course it works for top runners born at altitude, especially when they can avoid out of season / out of competition testing. Sure, testing is getting better, which is why we see the lack of guys running under 13:55 and 26:40, even if they - meaning the sacrosanct Africans - are doping out of season. The drug dosages etc. have been lowered as testing gets better, which is why the non-intimidated runners outside of E. Africa have some individuals winning medals and races. Go away Querfeldein with your half a brain and hasbarat motives.
U ok hun?

All the same trolls
This post is most definitely true. The guy is an arrogant wanna be know-it-all coach and comes on her to brag about himself. Honestly, I am embarrassed for him.
Wow, you are amazing JS!!! So you helped him to run faster, you are a running Coach God!!! Do you think anyone cares that you contacted him??? Give it a rest fake coach.
Renato,
A few questions regarding Moens training. I know you've previously explained how he works out, but I'd like to ask you a specific question.
Moens former coach is known for his fondness of threshold running and threshold intervals. As far as I know Moen has religiously been running several threshold workouts/runs a week.
Have you changed anything about this? I know you've commented in the past that to improve threshold pace you have to go beyond it (in terms of lactate).
What levels of lactate does Moen usually have during workouts?
Thank you.
PM me hun.
How and where?

And has the effect of longitude been studied?
Your brain capacity doesnt seem to be so strong!? JS didnt say he helped Moen to run faster. Learn to read and understand what you read. JS had the insight what Moen needed two years ago. Canova was the guy that got the chance to show it in practice.

Simple stuff here, kids. Why don't we meet up. I'm happy to meet you lot by myself and sort this out. How about it? Can't make it any easier than for you.
Your post is reported. That is a threat if I've ever heard one.

In the meantime we still don"t know whether this guy's VO2Max is exceptional as it should be
VO2Max?
HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA!
What a fvcking moran!
VO2Max has no practical relevance to marathon pace whatsoever.
Go away, idiot, just go away.
Really? Look under your bed...
Ran 13:30 when he was just 20, same level of talent as Ritzenhein, who went from 13:16 to 12:56 at age 27 and from 2:10 to 2:07 age 30.
Sondre has always been a road runner, far more than a track runner. Yes, he ran extremely well on the track as a teenager, 8:12 and 14:02 as a 17 year old, but as an 18 year old he ran 28:50 solo road 10k, and he ran 63 half marathon at age 19 or 20. He has always been better at road racing, which is why he now has been able to run well at the HM and the marathon, despite "weak" track PBs

12:56 is really fast though.
Many thanks for another great post coach Renato and congrats for the incredible results of your athlete.
Ignore the ignorant haters and JS related spam and please post some training details.
If people had the patience to spend a minute reading the thread on the Valencia half-marathon, they would find the answers to Sondre's performances and its improvements since then.
