Nice!
But man, I want to see what you can do if you really go after it. Maybe CIM 2019? 14 months of solid training and see what happens!

Congrats!!! Knew you could do it... There are way too many naysayers around here;)
Thanks fellas. Here's the splits if anyone cares:
1 : 645
2 : 658
3 : 645
4 : 654
5 : 653
6 : 655
7 : 707
8 : 707
9 : 646
10: 644
11 : 644
12 : 700
13 : 639
Hmm for some reason the initial post didn't show everything:

12 : 700
13 : 639
13 : 639 - half marathon was not clearly marked, but I was right around 1:30 by my watch
14 : 645
15 : 648
16 : 645 - caught up with the 3 hour pace group around here, they were a little fast
17 :639
18 : 646
19 : 649 - just hung with the 3 hour group for a few miles still feeling pretty comfortable
20 : 648 - couple ladies took off around twenty, tried to go with them (they ultimately dropped me like a bad habit)
21 : 635
22 : 642 - when I got to 22 I was pretty sure I was gonna make it with the cushion I had built
23 : 645
24 : 638
25 : 641
26 : 644 - the last two miles hurt way more than I ever expected. 26 was an all out redline to hit 644. There was nothing left in the tank
My initial reaction is that 2:57 hurt way worse than my other two, and I don't really have much desire to find out how bad going faster is going to hurt. We'll see though. If it gets me into Boston I'll probably convince myself to do that. Thanks for the support.
