Already posted with minimal interest on LRC. Are people tired of the BTC news feed?!
It's amusing that Bowerman is doing workouts out at the Duniway Park facility-in the shadow of the new Under Armour HQ on the track that UA paid to resurface-but posts the location as Nike.
I think that's great news for Marielle. She's already strong and will only get stronger and faster with BTC. But, yeah the rich get richer...
The only people 'losing' from this is basically every other USA distance runner, as these women are just going to get better... Even the women in Bowerman, it's not like they need more training partners to get better.
The winners from this are obviously those that are joining BTC, and USA distance running in general as it raises everyone's games...

Who would you suggest?
Where is Colleen Quigley in this photo? I'd assume she'd be working out with the rest of the track group, no?

Yes, this picture would be like 1,000,000 times better with Quigley in it but unfortunately she's hurt. She's been in the pool for at least a month now - swimming everyday but no running.
wonder what workout they are doing where a world class 800 runner and marathoner overlap ?
They were doing mile repeats, some did more than others.
Seems like the BTC gets all the new Female talent and the NOP gets all the new Male talent.

Didn't know you could get injured by nagging, but makes sense.

It does not mean anything that Colleen is not in the photo, in fact, I am amazed that a photographer was able to capture 6 elite athletes on the track at the same time. It's not uncommon for a large group to do a long run together, but you usually don't get 6 of them running intervals together.

You kidding? That is the number 1 cause of women's injuries.

Where was she before this? I thought she was already in one of the Nike groups.
