Just change the title to Next white American .. that's what you really want to know.
Evan Jager
It appears there are not many chances to go sub-13:00 anymore even if you are in shape to do it. There was only one race last year with a 12:5x winning time. Chelimo can probably run under 12:55 and Jager, Hill, Jenkins, Mead, True, Kipchirchir, and Kinkaid maybe can too but most likely they won't be in a fast enough race any time soon.
What's the fastest 5k of an American born black male?
American born doesn't necessarily have to mean "born in the US." It could also mean "American citizen at birth."
Rojo
In my opinion, we should drop the whole "If you are born in the US you are a citizen thing as it was something needed in a different era before mass transit." Nowadays, Ethiopians like Dibaba are flying over here and giving birth, getting that citizenship (and our better healthcare) and then flying home.
If you are here illegally or on a tourist visa, sorry, your kiddo isn't a citizen. It blows my mind that no politician talks about this .

Better healthcare??? Wow rojo. America has THE MOST expensive healthcare in the world by far... it's so expensive that the concept of medical tourism exists, which is certainly saying something. People from America literally fly halfway across the globe to get the same standard of treatment with the total cost (food, plane tickets, hotel, operation) being less than a single copay and insurance payment in America! Even the cost of one ambulance ride is enough to financially ruin a poor or lower-middle class family for years.
Here in our very own country, families are actively making the choice between feeding their kids and being provided with the basic human right of medical treatment, all because insurance is too damn expensive. Open your eyes... there's a reason there's such intense debate surrounding healthcare these days.
It's sad that our government considers affordable basic medical treatment a privilege for the few instead of a right for everyone.

Hahahahaha. I live in a country where 3 dollars a week covers my medical insurance up to a limit of infinity. I can have open heart surgery in the morning for free if I need it and the kicker is that even though the medical insurance is so cheap, I'll still get better healthcare than Americans because our education system is of a higher quality than America's so we are producing better doctor's and surgeons and you want to know the real funny part Rojo? The education system is free as well yet we outperform the American college system by a huge margin???.
Your conservative and America is great preferences might say that a country who gives away these for free must be struggling yet we consistently score in the top 10 global rankings for standard of living and have even topped it on one occasion. That includes wealth, jobs, education, health, wellbeing and all this from a country that is barely a hundred years old.
In Healthcare, the USA ranks 37th in the world behind the likes of Morroco. So while you're concerned with your trumping views on immigrants trying to "steal" healthcare. The truth is that your healthcare system is terrible and that is a much bigger issue.
Maybe lay off the IPA’s for the night rojo. You sound retarded.

Jenkins, Fisher or Hill? Maybe Curtin or Kincaid. I think it will be Jenkins or Fisher.
All wrong. Jamin will be the next to break 13:00! He just has to get serious, learn how to train then go out and do it.
Drew Hunter.....though it could be little farther out. If Evan Jager gives 5K a legitimate focus, it could be him. Perhaps the comebacking Bob Kennedy?

Rojo, my parents were here at University (dad did his Masters at U of O), I was born in Eugene, and they went back to Aussie when I was 18 months old. I'm as much a US citizen as you are. It blows my mind that you don't know how this works.
Drew Hunter might get there eventually

Rojo is talking about how he would like the law to work, not how it actually works. It blows my mind that your reading comprehension is that poor.

With rogue's nuanced articulation, he could be talking about anything.
American born means American citizen. That's what the law is, not 'how the law works'.
