Will buy.
If you missed Jonathan Gault's profile of Groberg, read it now.
Christmas present for me...
This should be an exciting read and I suggest this book to anyone in the running community. I have been foruntate enough to know Flo since right after he returned from Afghanistan. Flo is a very honest, genuine and caring person and even when he was in the middle of treatment and some 30+ surgeries he took the time to try to positively influence veterans and young people.
He has a larger than life personality but is completely selfless. His main objective in life is satisfying the needs of other and telling the story of his fallen brothers.
I hope this book becomes an effective medium for him to have a positive impact on even more in the same way he has impacted my life and those of many others.
I read some of the sample first chapter about Ranger School and his uncle. Rough stuff. Looks like a very good read.
Flo has a great story. On my list to read.
I hope his book sells a million copies and goes on to become a movie box office smash hit. Am I going to read it? Probably not. I've had enough of the war time stories from Afghanistan and Iraq. Plus I personally lived some of the stories during my tour so there isn't much for me to get excited about here. However, for the average summer time patriot, I hope they buy the book, read it over and over again, get jazzed up enough to join the military, and then get a real time experience that can help them be better citizens.
I just finished reading this today. It's an incredible story and well worth a read. I've read plenty of war stories but this captured my attention and really left an impression on me.
