Is this going to be another "STEEPLECHASE" affair ;-)
And in other news water is wet.
"I obtain[ed] a copy of a statement, signed by a prominent world-record holder, admitting: ‘I always receive a notice for testing the night before.’'
Bold and fairly specific claim. Narrowing things down, if the author is talking about Kenya, this could only be Kimetto, Rudisha, or Jepkosgei. No other Kenyans hold any of the current distance world records. You could also throw in names like Moses Mosop (30000m) or Leonard Komon (road 10k) if if you include less well-known records, I suppose.
Prominent World Records:
Men:
800m - Rudisha (KEN)
1500m - El Guerrouj (MAR)
3000m ST - Shaheen (QAT)
5000m - Bekele (ETH)
10000m - Bekele (ETH)
HM - Tadese (ERI)
MAR - Kimetto (KEN)
Women:
800m - Kratochvílová (TCH)
1500m - G. Dibaba (ETH)
3000m ST - Jebet (BRN)
5000m - T. Dibaba (ETH)
10000m - Ayana (ETH)
HM - Jepkosgei (KEN)
MAR - Radcliffe (GBR)

Nothing will change sadly. Race organizers keep on inviting these dopers to races (and probably won't even ask them to pay any race entry fees). Athletes training with Jama Aden were caught with an arsenal of EPO and steroids on training site in Spain last year yet the IAAF did absolutely nothing. Even cycling seems to be tougher on doping that track and field.
Jepkosgei for people who wonder
Why not just publish the name?
This appears to be yet another pathetic attempt to deflect from your inherent lack of athletic ability. For the record, the top doping countries, with few exceptions are European countries.
Wow, if the Brits are performing like they are at current, even with the help of peds, all hope is lost. Excluding Mo, they are abysmal. UK is being carried by the Scots at the moment.

and if you believe this chart which was likely pulled out of some English propaganda agencies ass, I have some seaside property in Mongolia to sell you.
While I sure there are some runners who dope in Kenya, this is one of the worst articles written on the subject. Not a single bit fo proof is given, no names are mentioned, we are supposed to believe all this with no credible proof.
The Daily Mail has always been a rag and this is just further proof. Sounds like someone was on vaca in Kenya and decided to do some writing for a bit of extra cash.

That is the independent, one of Britain's better newspapers.
Sorry but most of the world's top doping countries are European.

So Russia, Turkey and India are "European"? You seem to have a problem with geography.
In any case, those circles are rates of positive testing, which has very little correlation with actual doping. The U.S. in reality has more doping than indicated, due to evasion technology, but Kenya and Ethiopia are two of the largest, because of almost complete lack of effective testing.
Whenever I see these topics on doping, it gives me a good laugh. The truth be told, the sport cannot survive without doping. People spend their money to see athletes performing at their "peak". Cannot be attained naturally. Take away doping and you will see the men's 100m in the 11.3-11.2 range.

Idiot. Even if the map has any credibility, Europeans fail drug tests because they compete at a high level in so many sports and are tested a lot more. How many Kenyan elite powerlifyers are being tested every week for steroids, for example? None, because there are no elite Kenyan powerlifters.
The so called Independent is even more of a lefty rag than the Guardian. It is also no longer is a ',newspape'.
Isn't it odd that leftys would like people locked up as Nazis for believing Euroeans to be more intelligent, but saying Africans are physically superior is fine.
It's crazy that both the European 5000 record holder and now the European 5000 champion are North African drug cheats. About as crazy as the fact that in the 90s French, Spanish and Belgian distance running became suddenly dominated by Arabs 'inspired' by Aouita. Is/was it because North Africans are genetically superior, something there was no hint of before Aouita transformed himself from b runner to superman with the aid of doctors later busted for supplying peds, or like him are they all simply cheats?
The infographic whilst interesting, does not show the true story. True it does show that doping is prevalent in elite sport (athletics, rugby, weight lifting, soccer etc.) however, what it doesn’t show is the numerous country’s that have poor, near non-existent, doping programme. If you rarely test athletes and, those you do test are given advance warning, you’re unlikely to figure very highly in any table listing athletes caught for ADRV offences.
The truth is, all elite sport will have athletes who dope and, governing bodies who financially dope. Like it or not, elite sport is a business that it awash with sponsorship money. Where there is money there is greed. Where there is greed there is people who will cut corners, bend the rules and out-right cheat to get an advantage.
As sad as it sounds, I’ve just accepted that elite sport is corrupt to the core and given the depth of doping within the sport, view anyone who podiums as someone who is a likely doper.
