Classless with a cause is still classless!!

It was almost as if Keitany wanted to run a strategy that would work out well for Flanagan. This seems suspicious. As the race was unfolding, I was almost wondering how much Nike was paying Keitany to "hold back." After all, a win by Flanagan means more to Nike than another win by Keitany (and don't tell me she is 'sponsored' by Adidas - side deals can happen aplenty).
Much slower now....... wrote:

Well then it’s good she didn’t say anything classless.

Pro runners get something that many letsrunners don't- winning mean more than a fast losing time.
She won a race- a Marathon Major. She won.
Meanwhile I grow skeptical of the LR. Sad, really, you are suddenly judge and justice. Accusations = reality? Because that's the American way? Meanwhile the best strategy to appear clean is to attack others as suspicious (Radcliffe, Flanagan, Desi, Nick) while somehow running great times that stretch credulity or at rather late in career. Not saying they are suspicious, but certainly more than Hasay to me. Crazy way to look at running and has caused me to come to Lets Run less and less and less. You are overstepping your role, honestly, and I am ashamed of you. If you know something, journalists, let it loose. If you don't, well, stop pontificating at though you do. It's so below you. You have taken a great website I looked at daily and made it a depressing read. Sincerely.
Sorry Molly, you chose the wrong race... wrote:
Yes - Shalane may have won today, but I don't really give her 'credit' because she clearly bested a Keitany who was running on 'less than a full tank.' I'd give her more credit if she won NY with a fast time. Instead, she really benefited from Keitany holding everyone back with SUPER SLOW PACE until late in the race.
I'd bet Molly Huddle is saying, "WTF," I'd have won easily today knowing that it came down to outracing Shalane over the last 8K.

No way nop is doing anything now that they are being investigated. Hasay was not even there when the investigation began. Anyone else notice the lack of African runners in the women's race?
Could not agree more - after Hasay’s great run (faster than Shalane ever ran...) all she could do was question a great performance. Came across as petty and insecure. Still , congrats on here win today, and yes, it is classy for Hasay to respond. Even though Shalane couldn’t...

OP, it's pretty obvious. Desi's tweet says it all.
Many - including Shalane herself - are skeptical of the NOP.

I don't know how you conclude that from Desi's comment.

She was asked a question and she answered it. It wasn’t petty at all. Would you have rather she lied?
If the OP doesn't know the answer to this question he/she must be living under a rock. Go Desi! Go Shalane!
oh interesting so now jordan isn't a washed up former phenom? she's doped and not worthy of positivity. OK Letsrun. Considering this website has been heavily invested in spinning JH's story negatively for over a decade, this isn't surprising.

Jordon is clean and the future of US marathoning. We need to support her.

NOP is dirty. WE all know that. They just haven't been caught. It's that simple.
Shalane is dirty also. She’s been doping while all the attention is on NOP. She just hasn’t been caught yet. It’s that simple.
What a tool!
You're either a HSer or a pedophile.
The lack of logic in the following post is amazing.

Ok, Rojo - So just so we get this straight so we can all get on your bully train and click your ads like sheep : If Shalane wins a major she is as pure as snow, but if Jordan gets 3rd in a major she's dirty. If Galen wins, he's dirty. But if Meb wins he's clean. Do we have that right? If Simpson wins medal = good, if Rowbury medals = bad....
In all seriousness, the hypocrisy from you personally, and your racist and misogynistic website, and the other jealous American distance runners is stunning and in full display day after day. Shame on Desi as well. What bitterness and hate in her soul....
Shalane owes an apology to Hasay.
So let me understand this. You call me racist (which means I hate minorities) yet you also say that I love the African born Meb over the US born Galen Rupp?
Hmm. Interesting.
And we are misogynistic yet have a splash page up for Shalane?
Real good post.
Rojo is an idiot posting the Desi comment such as he did. Are you kidding me? I've lost all respect for this site.

But I bet you loved Rupp's Chicago win.
Keitany wasn't forcing everyone in the field to run slow. They chose to do so.
But why does that matter? Flanagan's last 10k was incredible.
Flanagan hit 20 miles at 1:54:39
Flanagan hit the finish in 2:26:53. So Shalane's last 10k+ 8 meters was 32:14. That's hilly as hell.
Hasay's 10k pb on a perfectly flat track is 31:39.
But ypou probably think I hate Hasay? False. I predicted she'd beat Desi in Boston and was 100% on that prediction.
Now, do I think there's a higher percentage change that Hasay is doping than Desi? Yes, I do.
In terms of most suspicious to least suspicious, I'dd go. Rupp, Hasay, Jager, Flanagan, Linden.
By your logic, I should be ashameda s I said Linden might be doping. I'd bet my life she's not but I start with the assumption that everyone but myself might be dirty and work from there. So if someone honestly responds to a question, "I don't know what to think about the NOP" given the fact that former team members have expressed reservations, their is a USADA investigation etc, there should be no outrage. It's common sense.

Yep ROJO jack you are a biased racist jerk, your posts are beyond belief.
If I was racist, I'd be the leader of the Rupp bandwagon. I'm an anti racist. Please explain your logic.
