Look at this link however.
In it Almaz Ayana explains that the pacers dropped out at the 10km mark of the Delhi half marathon and she was confused as she couldnt communicate with them due to her not speaking fluent English. After the race she said she didnt push it as hard as she could have due to this. - Even so she still ran the third fastest half on debut ever.
She advised in the press conference prior to the race that she intends to keep the main focus on the track and tis race was to compliment a pretty barren running season for her due to injury. She also stated she wants the 5000m world record so she has both like her countryman kenenisa Bekele. This makes for a fascinating battle with Obiri who has also publicly stated she is going for the record. Interestingly Obiri has also stated she will be running the 10000m at the Commonwealth games in Australia this year - so potentially Obiri and Ayana will be cashing on yet another battlefield over the coming years.
But yeah I think Ayana should forget doubling up at WC events and concentrate on the 10k which is only run at these global meets. She fades badly in the second race so why bother. throw it all out in the first one and try to blow the record apart everytime.
