It's incredible a runner with the doughy, cankle-laden legs shown in that video could be world class.
Must have great aerobic talents.

His last mile after 1:05 here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_InQsanQFckHe’s not even in the video for the last 5-10 minutes of the race, and you don’t even see him finish.
Even though it was in German, I was happy with the video coverage for the first 30km or so. They had a camera on the men's leaders, the second group (Gabius, Szost, and Griffiths) and the womens leader's.
Unfortunately for someone excited about what was happening with Griffiths (and I had no idea who he was until I checked the leaderboard to try to figure out who "DEWI" in what appeared to be a British club singlet was) , the camera stuck with Gabius (for German TV) after Griffiths ran ahead and stayed that way until Gabius finished. (Gabius did run a gutsy race for 6th but the antics involving him after the finish was a little weird .)

Well, then he isn't the first Brit to run under 2:10 in 12 years, is he? What's this "besides Farah" stuff? Is Hall the American record holder (besides Khannouchi)? Either he is or he isn't. He is the first Brit to run under 2:10 in 3 years.

nice video. actually i felt some pain in my tendons just by watching him running on the slippery grass in the mountains. considering his way to train next to his physical work as a farmer i have to admit that he fulfills every definition of a real man.

My favourite thing about this is that he wore his Swansea singlet. Just like josh Griffiths in London this year. It must be a great club to be apart of, and I hope more runners start representing those that have clearly supported them for so long before they've been fast and will continue to afterwards, instead of being another nameless face wearing a blue Nike singlet that will be disposed off at their next injury.
People don't like being a member of Swansea?
The tail wind was very strong in Frankfurt betwenn 10-15k. Thats why everybody was much faster on that 5k split.
Finally another Joss Naylor.

Even if this whole sentence wasn't redundant, what would his religion have to do with his nationality?

Farah is a plastic Brit. In fact now he has won his medals and is unlikely to medal in the marathon, he can go back home.
In an interview, Griffiths states that he slowed down from 2:08 pace near the end due to hamstring cramping.

Not a huge Farah fan, but would like to point out that he has a perfectly understandable London accent - not plastic
:19 off an Olympic silver medalist at 10,000m. How difficult is the transition from 10,000m to marathon distance?
