20 second spread on legit course. Buchalski looked strong too.
Too bad for the Samford guy in 6th (Arsenal Guillorel), otherwise they would have had 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8. However, Guillorel is a 13:53 guy, so having 8 guys from your team beat him would have been tough.
Is it true that's Gabe Jenning's daughter? Seems like he wouldn't be old enough to be her father.
9 out of the top 11. I didn't even know teams could run that many athletes.
That is really impressive. The 19th guy is running 2 minutes slower than the first. That is a really great performance. Furman is not considered a strong running university but I bet Univ. of Texas would have their top guy finish behind all of Furman's. And they have Sam Worley on the team.
Not sure what you mean?
Men are ranked #7 in Country latest poll
What the hell has happened to UNCG?
Glad Aaron Templeton is back running well

Wisconsin fan?
Yes, Chris Neal is a pretty good coach. The top guy who's coached by Rob Gary was 5th on his team...
The real test is NCAAs so we'll see how they fare!
So Furman pours all their scholarship money into cross country/distance and ignores track and field, then we are supposed be giddy over over program that actually try to be good at both. The female coach at Furman is always bitching that other schools bring in international athletes, yet what they do is just as bad to me. So if they are fully funded they put 12 scholarships into men's distance running. Other schools do not do that. Sad.

Not a furman fan, but I don't see anything wrong with what they do, they don't have as many scholarships to give out since they're a small school compared to anyone better then them at xc
And they develope talent very well, guarantee 95% of people didn't know any of their athletes in high school
I know for certain that Furman has 12 total scholarships for both genders, they’re not allowed to add onto academic aid, and it costs $62,000 year to attend. Heck of a job by that program.

Maybe English is not your first language, but would you care to explain why you feel this is "just as bad to (you)"?
They were all towards the front, but how do they run 9 guys? I thought all Championship races and invites could only enter 7 runners?

Gabe is 38 and won't be 39 until January. She would be 19 and turning 20 this winter or later unless she redshirted. I don't think he had a child at Stanford when he was 19, but I suppose it is possible.

A lot of conferences run 9 athletes and then it goes down to 7 at the Regional meet.
They do participate in track. At last years Socon meet the men and women both scored over 100 pts. Way more points than before they went to the all distance model. They also had 9 athletes qualify for the 1st round of NCAA’s (which is a track event). Better to be very good one season, than to average in all 3.
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
