Stream on the official website seems to be focusing mainly on the German lead.
Although it appears Griffiths is pulling away and the other two are slowing.
At 35k on pace for third on the British all-time list. Looking like some debut at this stage.
Long time leader and pre-race favourite Getu of Ethiopia gets dropped by a surge by Tola and Woldaragay. It'll be between these two.
Tola's separated himself from Woldaragay and is running for home. Woldaragay is beat as gap stretches to 50+ metres.
Top time by a non-african this year:
2:08:22 Hirohito Inoue JPN 8 Tokyo 26.02.2017
Tola hits 40k in 1:59:13 streaking off to victory. It's going to be sub 2:06. Woldaregay is 30 seconds back.
Shura Kitata Tola of Ethiopia wins the 2017 Frankfurt Marathon in 2:05:50 ??
Woldaregay comes in second in 2:06:55
2:07:46 for Getu in third. Last year's champ, Mark Korir hit such a wall, he's merely jogging at this point. Was overtaken by Gabius some time back.
big hurray for henryk szost and arne gabius knocking at sub 2:10 at the moment. i have had a look at szost's personal bests. his 5k is 13:58, his 10k is a 28:31, but his marathon pr is a 2:07. very strong stamina, i guess.
gabius 2:09:59, szost 2:10:08.
Vivian is rocking and rolling now, slowed down to 2:23 pace. She'll win, but looks spent.
Scott Smith 2:12:21
Scott Fauble 2:12:35
Matt Llano 2:13:42
The chase pack has cut Vivian's lead by almost a minute. It's now only 90 seconds.
Arne Gabius looked like hurting a lot for the last 15k, props to him
First marathon win for Vivian Cheruiyot as she becomes the 2017 Frankfurt Marathon champ in a new PB of 2:23:35

At one point, that German MC screamed "Haraka, Haraka" (hurry, hurry) at the Ethiopian winner. That's Swahili, not spoken in Ethiopia.
Great job from all the NAZ Elite men!! Not gonna lie Scott Smith being at top surprises me. Always going to be rooting for this team.
