I am looking at schools in the southeast and have always like UGA. Judging by the roster I am good enough to get on the team and I was wondering what the programs is like. It looks like they have done a good job developing guys at my talent level and the girls team is ranked. Does anybody know anything further about the team?

I noticed they are losing a lot of seniors and that definitely isn't a positive but I am really just looking for a place I can develop as a runner and enjoy my time even if I come in at a rebuilding year. I am also a junior so they have a couple year to restack.

If you want to go to a place where you will develop then Georgia is perfect. Good solid academics (better than Furman in a much cooler town). Cunniff does a great job but the men's team will not be great. The reason is he won't have the scholarship. Too many high school kids think that because program A is better than program B then the coach is better at A. That is totally incorrect. Look at the development or lack of development from each coach. Georgia will compare favorably with any program in the country.
Anybody else? I’m also an interested junior And curious about Georgia. It looks like they do a great job with guys my speed but they always seem to slide back senior year, anything else on training, coach, team?
They are going to have a good girls team next year again, their development is great already looking at progression from last year
Also picked up a good male recruit in Nick Yanek 15:01 guy, maybe they can get Sam Bowers as well although it seems he already plans on Furman
I don’t know much about the training but like previous posters the team has developed well since high school. The girls side seems to be a lot stronger than the guys but the guys team is still pretty good considering the talent going there. There doesn’t seem to be any specifics on the team but I would be interested to hear more.
