Who's coaching him, where is he training
Who's coaching him, where is he training
skechers offered him 2 options: move to boulder and train with mark wetmore/Kara goucher's group(wetmore is a paid Skechers coach), or move to mammoth lakes and he coach by bob Larson(mebs coach who is also a paid Skechers coach. He will be deciding in the next month and will be moving around the start of 2018
Has Wetmore coached a non-American? Just curious. I know cheserek is in the process of getting his citizenship.
he should work with Wetmore for sure

neither of these are correct.
He is moving to Flagstaff and his agent will coach him (Haas)
What are the NCAA rules about a division I (or any other division for that matter) coach training other athletes for money?
Haas is not a coach. He's more photographer for instagtam than he is agent. He has nothing to do with chesereks training.
everything said on here so far is false. He is moving to Colorado Springs to be part of the american distance project. Did no one else see this coming
Uncle Phil wants him nowhere near Oregon now that he joined the dark side
All of the above is incorrect. The Skechers contract gives him freedom to choose his own coach and training group. He is already back in New Jersey and working with Marcus O'Sullivan across the river at Villanova.
Given the way this thread has unfolded, it appears that he actually is training in Rashomon, Japan.
Is Ches going to run track or is he headed straight to the roads/marathons?
all of the above is incorrect
Cheserek is training in a remote facility on the moon, as the lower gravity is better for his knees, and the lack of oxygen is ESSENTIAL for his anaerobic runs.

I am also curious about this. Also, if I was an AD, I don't think I would want my coaches having two teams. (Although Mark Wetmore has earned the right to do whatever the hll he wants)
Curious how this works.
The info. posted so far isn't up to date. The latest word is that he's moving back to Kenya to train with Kipchoge and kamworor.
wrong wrong wrong
Ches is already unhappy and regretting signing for skechers. NOP wants him bad. They are going to do what they did for Mo, buy out the remainder of his contract. Ches has been training with centro, just check their instagrams.
He will be in an NOP singlet by the first race of indoors. you heard it hear first.
NOP is desperately trying to rebrand themselves...hence signing murphy, engels, and now ches. Wetmore is not a skechers coach lol
He's training with Powell, you idiots.
All of you are completely wrong.
He will be joining Brad Hudson, and is firmly committed to an emphasis on 5-10k, with the knowledge that he will transition to the marathon for the 2024 games.
Heard it here first.

Perhaps he is hidden in the hills of Tennessee like Elvis.
Wow this thread is a disaster.
enough said. He is training primarily at night with the help of the Boy's Lights Energy Lights light-up shoe
I heard a rumor he was gonna train in Portland with Jonathan Marcus. At least it looks like he has options.
