I have a marathon in 4 weeks and I've topped out at 65mpw. Last week I did an easy 10 on saturday and then 18 on sunday with the middle 11 at goal marathon pace. Please give me a workout to run on Saturday and a workout on Sunday. I have the weekend free and want to do some good running. I'm considering two options:
1) Hard tempo 10-12 on saturday, maybe at GMP or faster. Long easy 20-24 on Sunday.
2) Easy 10-12 on saturday. Sunday long run with first 10 easy, second 10 at GMP.
Other ideas?
