3 days is the max interval between family fights, so before day 3, go on a trip within a trip for a few days from there, say, to the mountains or beach or whatever. All will be grateful.
Where are you? If we knew the location someone could probably give you some suggestions for a day trip or even an overnight.
In the mean time, my only suggestion is to let the ole schlong hang out the bottom of your split shorts when you get back from a run. Not sure exactly what that will accomplish, but it will send some sort of message
You can't create a "work emergency? What do you do for a living?

It doesn't happen often, but its threads like this that make me proud to be an LRCer!

Who can just choose to extend a trip from a weekend to a week without notice or planning? Are you both unemployed? How does taking a week off work save money unless you are unemployed? The difference in ticket price can’t be a weeks wages.
Your post reads like bull shlt.
My manager at Denny's is pretty flexible. Wife is independent contractor for a well known gentlemen's club.
Okay, the previous poster was not me.
My wife is the one who works at Denny's and I am the independent contractor for a well known pegging club.

I had the same thought right before looking at the updates on this thread. For as much bullsh*t that is spewed on this forum, sometimes there are some ones that turn into comedic gold. This is one of those times.

Thanks for that. Maybe if I Leon it up a little I'll annoy everyone more than I already am.

Read a classic piece of literature. Seriously - if you're stuck, read one of "the greats."
This is the best idea so far. Any suggestions?

You ever heard of vacation days?
Really the best thing you can do is try to endear yourself to the in-laws, begin siding with them on things, and watch as your wife becomes increasingly angry and isolated. Then she'll stop booking vacations to be with them.
Joking or not?

Week long vacation at the in-laws. She told me we were just going for the weekend but wife wanted to save money so she extended it to get a cheaper flight. Now we're stuck for a week.
It's day 1 and I already want to leave. How am I supposed to make it a full week? Any suggestions on excuses to go home?

I've been doing that with older sis. First thing I said was just think 7 days. She's probably more annoyed than I am. I wish I was joking.

Do you own a submarine? If yes, I suggest taking a trip with your mother in law and just go with the flow.
