I was really looking forward to crushing my pr at Chicago. Part of my plan was to wear the new vaporfly 4%, but Nike hasn't made them available to purchase again, and I missed the first sale. Should I skip Chicago since I won't pr by 4% any longer.

The forecast alone is suggesting there will be no PR's; I wouldn't worry about the shoes!
What size you need
If you won't be using your bib then I would be interested in purchasing it. I will take the timing strip off the back as is proper.

Size 12 - 1/2.... Nobody has them, not even on ebay for a jizzillion dollars.
supply and demand.
demand is high and supply is relatively low. The result is high prices.
I got size 13 from Running Warehouse on a lark. I won't be wearing them at Chicago since I haven't broken them in but will use them to hobbyjog my way across DC for the MCM in a few weeks.
I might know a guy let me ask

One of the dumbest things I've read on this forum
I have a basically brand new pair in size 12 that I'd sell you. How much are you willing to pay?
Try a different brand. I have the 4%. They're now in climate controlled storage for a spring marathon.
At this rate, anyone else think they are discontinued. They'll probably only be available for sponsored athletes from now on.
What do you think? If you go to their website, it says "product no longer available".

Sad that the concept of "the shoe does not make the runner" hasn't stuck in your brains and you fell for the oldest marketing trick in the running business. Nike really got into your mind like Connor Mcgregor gets into the mind of his MMA opponents. I am sure many runners on a pair of vintage ontisuka tiger marathon can beat your PB.

So you are saying I should wear these beauties from the ontisuka tiger for $350?!? How is that any better than spending $250 on a pair of Nike shoes?

Isn't Nike in the business of selling shoes? Why would they discontinue a popular product?
