Adola looks like he may be getting gapped
Adola looks like he may be getting gapped
Kipchoge having a discussion with Adola to let him over to grab his bottle. Success.
If Kipchoge feels great, I don' know what he's waiting for...Adola has to feel he's vulnerable.
Adola had just moved back to change sides, now on Kipchoge's left.

He has already beat his Half Marathon best by OVER 12 minutes and is still on 2:05 pace at 25k, what a breakthrough race.
55 minutes at half-way?
Breakthrough until he blows up.

No, i doubt that. kipchoge knows the cost. the rookie is the one that needs to check the pride, if he wants to continue on.
Why does Kipchoge care? He must feel somewhat vulnerable. Could be a good race.
Surge from Kipchoge
Kipchoge and Adola talking to one another?
Still a lot of bumping and Kipchoge aggravated.

Adola's a 59 and change guy in the HM, just check Wikipedia, this could get interresting.
Adola has covered everything, man. THIS IS NUTS.
I'm thinking Kipchoge is going to surge soon.
Seems to me like WR is gonna stand :/
Damn, 7 km/4 miles to go and they're still only 6 seconds behind wr pace with those conditions.
And the impressive thing is that Kipchoge is not by himself neither.
At 36k and they are still side by side. Kipchoge looking relaxed again.
Ok. Remember WR pace is 4:41.36 per mile and 2:54.8 per km or 14:34.15 per 5k.
Here are the most recent splits.
1:27:24 at 30k 14:34 last 5k.
1:30:23 at 31k (2:59)
1:33:15 at 32k. (2:52) Two seconds off WR pace.
1:36:16 at 33k (3:01 33rd km)
1:39:07 at 34k (2:51 34th km)
1:42:04 at 35k ( -- 2:03:03 pace. 14:40 last 5k. Kipruto 1:03 behind in third.
So 5k segments are 14:28, 14:36 (29:04), 14:40 (43:44), 14:34 (58:18), 14:32 (72:50) 1:42:04 (14:40).
I think bekele stopped

you are either trolling or you've never seen an interview of kipchoge.
