I'm sure I already know the answer, but will this be televised/streamed?
Official 2017 Philly Half Discussion Thread - Rupp and Hasay get ready for Chicago

I'm going to watch. If you move, you can catch the start, see the leaders somewhere between 3 & 5mi., and then make it back to the finish.
I dreamed up this funny scenario the other day when I was out running - I don't have the balls to do it, but it made me smile. I came up with the idea of wearing a black t-shirt with "Rossi" on it it big white letters. Add to that a black ball cap, sunglasses, and a maxi-pad taped to my chin. I'd jump out of the bushes and run up behind the lead pack and then sprint for tv glory (is the race even going to be on tv?). Most people would think "what an a--hole", but the people who read this board might get a chuckle out of it. Not only do I not have the balls to make a spectacle out of myself, but I doubt I could run fast enough to catch the lead pack anyway.

Not streamed, but I'll be filming the entire men's race with a DSLR from the pace car (plus my friend is doing the women's) and I'll upload them for free on FloTrack shortly after. -
Like many have said this is a tune up before Chicago. A good opportunity to see how 62 half pace feels in what he will probably try to split at Chicago. He most likely wants to run a big pr (2:05-06) at Chicago, so big races like London will offer him some real money to show up.

I'm scared to go out my door anymore.

Are you trying to tell people that you do not mostly complain about Rupp or make negative statements about him? It's better to just own your bias.

Weren't you trashing all over Rupp's race at New Haven a couple weeks ago calling it slow? Now it's fine that he's 3 weeks out versus 5? I think you like to just come on your site to disagree with people and make bad personal attacks like what kind of marijuana are you smoking. People want good performances out of Rupp and cheer for him.
Week / Galen Rupp’s Got More In The Tank
30:40 / 28:24 – 1st 10k split and 2nd 10k split for Galen Rupp at last week’s Faxon Law New Haven Road Race, where he won the second road US title of his
Recheck the thread? I didn't comment at all on the person who was there. I didn't call the race slow. I pushed back against Rojo for calling it slow, pointing out Rupp's time was faster than the last several editions of the run and that is impressive given that he's 5 weeks out from a goal marathon. I'm trying to be excited for the Chicago Marathon instead of throwing out conspiracy theories about a weak field being setup for Rupp to win. My MO is to try to stop the LRC bash-train and advocate they elevate the sport by promoting good matchups and good races. Instead, we get a whole lot of complaining. That doesn't grow the sport or get fans excited. -
habs please upload them on youtube! None of us pay for flotrack :(

69 degrees, 95% humidity at start time. It may drizzle at some point.
(I just walked my dog and can confirm it feels a little muggy in the Delaware Valley.) -

He completely blew it open from 5 miles to falls bridge

Unfortunately no stream for me...just looking at unofficial splits on the RnR website. Looks like Rupp was all alone at 10k though by about 7-8 seconds.
