That's all that they have in common.
Kenyan runners run a lot.

With easy access to epo and never testing positive.
As opposed to the U.S. where even Salazar's doping program that the USATF won't even acknowledge fears an epo positive.
Different degrees of never testing positive.
American farmers can roll down the hill faster. And they float better.
I know this is a troll thread, but look at the different styles of farming. One relies primarily on human power, while the other relies primarily on machinery. That said, Craig Virgin has talked about how his upbringing was similar to that of a rural Kenyan child.
I wonder who's doing a better job at farming?
Ethiopia famines and poverty vs. American abundance.

Mine was even more so but I am nowhere near as gifted at running as Craig.
I bet I can throw a hay bale twice as far and wrestle a steer better though.
Farming develops your inherent strengths but it doesn't create ability where it isn't already present.

You probably mean who is better at not preventing the farmers from getting their work done.
Ethiopia is great at farming. They don't do well when civil war breaks out and disrupts things.
The USA probably didn't do that great in years like that either.

african farmers just are unproductive. they should learn more about modern farming and do less running
How many Kenyan runners that are training heavily do ANY farm work? It is my impression that they basically become running monks for a few years to see if they can make it as runners, then if they don't they go back to being farmers. If they do make it, they buy a farm and hire other people to work on it.

Their farming is used to grow runners rather than cows. Take your pick on what I mean for the latter when it comes to the USA.

You would be wrong. John Ngugi was once 76th in the Kenyan trials because he was working the fields harder than he could train. He was only let on the team because he was the defending World champ.
Once that was done he crash trained and won the World title again.
Kenyan farms are up at altitude.
