A Yaris goes 110 mph. A decent BMW will go 160 mph.
The BMW is 50% faster than the Yaris.
The iPhone X is 400% faster than the newest Samsung.
If you want to use cars as an analogy, it's like a 1910 Ford Model T (45 mph max) compared to a 2017 BMW M5 (155 mph max).
Your analogy is fatally flawed, much like your decision to purchase a $1000 phone.
You can't compare a 100HP engine to a 400HP engine, when one is going in a city bus, and the other in an F1 chassis.
In other words, the extra HP means absolutely nothing if the only thing it's good for is animated emoji's.
And if you think the extra CPU will allow you to keep your precious iPhone another couple years - think again.
iOS is 100% closed and proprietary. Once your iPhone is a couple years old, Apple will force you to make a decision just like they always do,
1. Continue putting off the iOS upgrade as more and more of your apps stop working.
2. Permanently (because 'undo' is for losers) upgrade to the fabulous new iOS 22.2 and suffer a 50-75% drop in performance.
3. Get in line for the next iPhone creation - the 'XV' for the low low price $2,499.
Thanks again for perpetuating the stereotype.
