Cowen did what?
I add that the lab monitored ie reported on the wrong ion ie a compound that was not banned or even identified.

How did all this get passed the hearing?

How did all this get passed the hearing?
They did not provide the evidence that was available and convinced the Chair that Cowen would have done it correctly even though the calibration data is missing

Who was the Chair?
The Chaiman was the very important Max Beloff QC

Who was the Chairman of the hearing that clear Mark Hilton because of the analytical errors made by the London lab?
Beloff was to top drugs chairman and writer of sports law at the time yet he just assumed that Cowen could get away with out providing calibration data.

Beloff is a key person in the sports drug control industry and sits on big stuff with CAS
The online record is always right ; so the sample never was handled by dhl; so what happened to it.
This case and thread is such a mess.

All the evidence has been set out and discussed in detail.Lots to read.

Why did they refuse to give the evidence as to where the sample went when it went missing for a few days?
Cos it would have proved Edwards innocent so they hid it

The detail set out makes the Russian doping cover up child’s play.

The hearing would have found out if it agreed with the request from the defence thatUK sport provided the evidence.

He took retirement.
This does not mean that his published work, like that of everyone else, is still subject to peer review.

The Russian doping scandal was Russia against the goodies.
I the Edwards case it is all sides of the checks and balances , those that should be independent and should apply the normal rules of science and justice, joining together.
So in many ways we should be more concerned by the Edwards case than the Russian one.

His peer reviewed papers stated that he always did calibration work up yet he failed to do so for Edwards .
Kings College said they had done it but would not provide it due to Health and Safety reasons.
Then they had to tell the data Commissioner they never did them.
Does anyone know a lab that does not do calibration workups and curves?
