It's quite unfortunate that nobody had the balls to actuall race him. I won't deny that he is great, but compared to the other great championship runners throughout history, he is hilariously slow in comparison to the WR times.
Farah was amazing. He was really made to work but he did IT! He is definitely able to run a 2:05 marathon next year.

God I can't stand the way the BBC fawns over Mo Farah. Just makes me want to puke.
Beats out Jake Robertson for the win a bit over an hour.
It's excruciating - Mo Farah ... the greatest distance runner in history ... in that scintillating 10,000m at world championships made short work of the best of Kenya and Ethiopia ... over the years has absorbed everything that Africa has thrown at him ... blah, blah, blah.
I've had to mute my TV.

Made to work by a kiwi? He was clearly running within himself.
Mo Farah takes it in 60:06 after Jake Robertson (60:12) tried and failed to run the kick out of him over the last few miles. Feyisa Lilesa 3rd. Mary Keitany ran 65:59 to dominate over Vivian Cheruiyot.
Ritz and Lagat were top-10, a ways back.
An interesting note, Jake Robertson proposed to his girlfriend, Kenyan Magdalyne Masai, after the race. Masai was 4th in the women's race.
Farah goes home DELIGHTED!
I'm confused. Wasn't there already a thread on this race where Ritz won?

Personally, I always thought that Jake was p1ssing around in Kenya, but he ran quite well today, should have put in a harder mile with 3 to go. Mo was always going to have a better sprint. Mo probably just wanted the season to finish.
What happened to Ritz? He was pushing and pushing, then boom, he was done.
it looked like he had to dig dip compared to a few years ago when
he easily dropped Geb and KB on the last down stretch!!
For B Lagat to still run at this level at his age ... Legend!
That is all
Don't know what you were watching, but Bekele won that race...
Is BBC referring to him as Mo or Mohamed?
Unbelievable how disrespectful this forum is.
Really, calling Mo "Slow" he ran a tactical race on a slow course and ran 4:38 pace and you're calling the dude slow knowing damn well that literally 99.999999999% of this entire forum can't do a SINGLE 4:38.

I wish they'd stop talking in "miles". No one outside the UK and the US understands it.
And I wished they'd change all the streets sign distances from miles to KMs already. The new numbers may mean diddly to the drivers they are put there for, but at least it'd make sense to internet users around the world when they decide to check out a British street on Google maps.
I wonder if they'll water down the London Marathon for him next year. That way, London will definitely cede it's alpha status to Berlin.

More annoying still was the coverage they gave Griffiths whilst barely mentioning Tewelde in his Glasgow Shettleston Harriers club vest.
https://twitter.com/markbritball/status/906836289659555840Probably they'll have a field of recent 2:06-07 guys + some 2:04-05 which are out of form so that he might have a shot. Kipchoge will do #Breaking2 for a second time and they might have Bekele in it too. Looking good for slowmo.
Sir Mohamed.
Tewelde..."Scottish"...LOL
