Same thing applies to how people spend their time in general. I lived and worked in Grand Teton National Park one summer, which was awesome. Every day after work I would go for a run or hike on one of the trails close to where I was living, and every weekend I would go out and explore the area by hiking some new trail, driving down to Jackson and seeing whatever was going on that weekend, or sometimes going kayaking or something with a friend. I was one of about 12 people my age there at the time. However, literally every other person just wanted to sit on the boat dock and drink after work every day, and they only actually went out and saw the park one weekend the entire summer. They were totally happy and content to sit on the dock and drink and talk about basically nothing for 4-6 hours every single day. I do not understand these people.
