A lot of it is just about goal completion. I had all of the Arkham games on the XBOX360. The whole goal was to just complete the game.
The only games I play now are a FPS on my IPAD (not COD) and a MUD called Dark & Shattered Lands. A MUD is generally a midpoint between D&D table games and the first online MMORGs like Everquest and and WoW. MUDs are all textual, no graphics. Very high learning curve. It's all for nostalgia.

I don't get why there is a huge hate thrown towards adult who are into gaming. After all, they aren't hurting anyone. I am not into gaming, but I am respecting everybody's passions. I love to cycle and I am not hating anyone who doesn't have the same passion as me. I've even tried gaming. I have some friends who are into it and they have shown me this site called https://fancyhire.co where I was able to see many interesting stuff about Runescape. I've tried to play it, but it wasn't for me. Simple as that. At least, I know that I don't like gaming haha
