Lipari had a crazy last 100m to nip Martinez at the line. 4:29ish

Yep. It wasn't like Bmart died. She ran like a 66 last lap. i had the last 200 leader to leader in about 32.5 so Lipari might have been 32 flat or better. I tried to rewind it but it went out.

Did you see it on the feed?
The feed worked for me. It ended roughly 10 seconds after the race finished. Hasn't come back yet, but there's some nice views of a mountainside that I am enjoying.
livestream's back up.
Martinez led from the gun with Leah O'connor trailing until 300m to go. Martinez had the lead until 20m to go and got outkicked by Lipari who was ~5m back with 100m to go
I have to say, Emily Infeld was impressive coming from last (or second to last?) all the way up to 4th. She passed a lot of people in the final lap+
refresh your whole browser, worked for me when I just saw the mountains

Yeah, she's really good at racing Americans.

Thanks! it worked like a charm!
Good to see Emily Infeld to well at a shorter distance. She showed her strength in the final lap. Emily Lipari was probably the home town favorite coming from about 15 miles away from her home town.
Sorry for the triple post, but what the heck are those things supposed to be? Opposing jars of mayonnaise?
Did the PA guy just say, "All the way from New Zealand?" Really?
Fun fact: Merber is an 8-time ivy champ. Gregorek won 1 and since it was in the steeple should we say 1/2?
Did the announcer say Kyle M. was national champ in the 800m? What? Everyone knows he chokes hard in championship races...
I'm glad they didn't do a moment of silence for Torrence but rather a cheer.
Clock fail.
I'm timing it on my iphone. I had 61 flat for 409 but i bet I was a little off so I"d say like 61.3 for 409.
I had 58.7 for the 2nd lap.
So like 1:59.9 for 809.
O'Hare, Willis, then Gregorek
3:56.4 for the winning time it seems. What a great event. That homestretch seems so long with the camera zoomed in and the spectators on the track. Love it!
26.3 final 200 ?? Is that right? 56 last lap. O'Hare edges Willis
Shame they went out so slow in the DT mile.
When I saw Lipari move into third on the last lap I said "uh oh, here she comes". She has had a devastating final 200 ever since high school. It's a matter of her being fit enough to use it well.
That's a big mile PR for her in tough conditions.
