Yes, what did he run for the 400m?

Does anyone know his 400 time?

Apparently with a terrible block start! Kid ran 52 last lap over the 1500 after a weekend with 6 races, so safe to say that 51 is not his ceiling at this point
Considering how doping is common in the Norwegian XC skiing I wouldn't be at all surprised if the whole Ingenbritsen family is dirty.
Last lap in 55, overall converted time like 8:43 for two miles. Any other kid we would be super-impressed.

People are just pissed because he's not from #Murica and he would slaughter any 16/17 kid in #Murica. Get over yourselves that is what is wrong with this country.
It could also be that he has 2 brothers that are somewhat close in age and run under 335? Do you ? Or any American kids have that pedigree right now in the family that close in age?
Maybe they are doing something right? or maybe wrong. Someone mentioned his his leaning over may actually be more efficient. Maybe we are doing it all wrong.

Why don't women marathoners take head-bobbing more seriously? Mayb they got that all wrong too?
I hope he doesn't get injured racing that much.
400???
As for staples, how's your Norwegian? His English is pretty good, except for one literal translation.
But the kid's run 14 races in just over a month, 7 in the past week. This is not the pattern of someone who will stay healthy. 8 flat for a 16 year old, where he can run closer to 7:50 probably, during this series and with no competition, is fast. He's run 8:26 in the steeple already.

You're clearly a hater for bringing this up.

He's actually starting to under perform. With his mile and 5k time, he should be running like sub-7:50
Not a good sign.
But he wasn't fresh for this race and did it alone, meaning he could definitely be somewhere around there in a race with people.

Some of the races are merely training sessions tbh, or a jog with a 400m sprint
He isn't going allout or even close every race
Was he maxing out at that 400m? Since he was running the 3000m about an hour after the 400m. One of these races affected the other
Henrik, his older brother, was flagged by WADA on the fancy bear website for doping.
Norwegian skiing is rife with PED use - it is everywhere on the internet.
Jakob is a phenom in a gene pool not known to produce any unlike Kenya and Ethiopia similar sized populations that have uncountable running prodigies.
The explanation here is obvious.

What a fool! Kenya and Ethiopia? You mean the two countries that have no doping program, that have the most distance runners busted for doping, and that are by far the most suspicious??
By the way, that stupid, all too often used statement "uncountable running prodigies" there, well, there is less than a 100 pro ADULTS on the best Italian drugs from BOTH of those countries put together that are faster than Jakob. That's it. Uncountable? Yeah, right.
yes you are right whites are superior athletes to blacks (esp east african blacks) in distance running. and poor blacks in east african countries have more access to PEDs than rich whites in the countries where the labs are miles away from producing these drugs.
yes you are right. look at the olympic medal standings.
100% sure jakob is juiced to the gills just like Galen Rupp, Centrowitz, Lassee Viren.

It's pretty obvious the Ingebrigtsen gene pool, however it came about, is better than that of any subgroup you'll find in Kenya or Ethiopia. How many Kenyan or Ethiopian rising stars have two brothers who can run under 3:50 for the mile? That's what I thought. Their parents getting together somehow hit the genetic lottery for distance running.
And Norway has about 1/10th the population of Kenya (not sure about Ethiopia) and focus much more on winter sports. Endurance genes are clearly prevalent if you look at XC skiing record and VO2 max levels. (I'm Norwegian and was a fair runner but never elite.)
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
Running for Bowerman Track Club used to be cool now its embarrassing
Hats off to my dad. He just ran a 1:42 Half Marathon and turns 75 in 2 months!
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
Rest in Peace Adrian Lehmann - 2:11 Swiss marathoner. Dies of heart attack.
