And with Kipchoge the winner, Kipsang runner-up and DNF for Bekele.

I hope Bekele makes it till the end- this would be the greatest marathon ever. And look at the difference between this event and all those crappy track events of Farah. Unlike Farah's track races, here you have three champions running both for the win and both for the WR ( to all those bullshiter& who said Farah chose wins instead of records, as though you can't have em both)
You're wrong. Track championships don't have pacers. That's why marathoners can go for the world record at a non-championship marathon. When's the last time we had a marathon world record set in a championship race? Exactly.
My expectations are low for this. I predict Bekele drops out around 30k, Kipsang and Kipchoge battle it out for a little until Kipchoge turns the gas on around 37k but by then they've slowed and he wins in 2:04:1x.

This^
The level of disrespect against Bekele in this thread is unacceptable. Kenenisa knows how to play his tactics, and how to manage his image. He will not allow himself to lose to Kipchoge again. Bekele always gets the last laugh. Bekele for the win in 2:02.
ALERT:
REMEMBER WHERE YOU SAW IT FIRST
Kipchoge will go SUB 2 Hours. He knows what it takes, he's been there, he's ready.
Beacasue Bekele is only the SGOAT.
ignore my above posts. I am stupid.
Bro don't steal my Name.
Remember:
Sub 2 by Kipchoge
SGOAT is Bekele (GOAT obviously Mad Mo, Sir Mo, MoBot - The one and only Mohamed Farah)

Bekele is not in shape. Total money grab.
Speaking about the “original†sub2 project‚ Pitsiladis said Kenenisa Bekele was the man to watch at the Berlin marathon in September. This is the quote from pitsiladis, and he is talking about 2017 Berlin marathon. He gave his opinion on august 23 and he knew Bekele will be at Berlin even before it announced. Probably Bekele is in good shape

Moron. Not necessarily in the same race. Farah's fans always say "he didn't go for records because he aimed for championships"- what nonsense.
Didn't KB Geb and many more go for records and titles? You don't have to choose between WR career or titles career! That is a madeup lousiest excuse by SlowMo's fans

Not saying you're wrong, in fact you could be correct. But such bold predictions deserve at least a registered name.

Did you ever say "this will be a race not to miss!" About any of Farah's track races? Don't answer, we already know.
Only when Farah loses.
Saw Kenenisa running across some water the other day - looked in great shape!
Bekele coming to the filed as unofficial pacemaker for Kipchoge (organizer must know Bekele is not good for the whole race); he'll get good appearance money and is not expected to finish—maybe have a deal to go 30k 2:02 pace or something; if not Berlin, Nike could be paying for Bekele's Berlin run. That's my take on that, even though if I was Bekele I wouldn't go for it (unless my bank was already empty).

After reading many of your posts, I've concluded that you are about 15 years old and and very annoying. This isn't about Mo Farah. Stop trying to make it about Mo Farah.
Mo Farah will smash them all next year
The number of people who don't remember that Bekele is the defending champ in Berlin or that he beat Kipsang there in a time faster than Kipchoge has ever legitimately run is amazing.
No doubt about that!

Legitimately run? Kipchoge ran 2:00:25 with his own two feet. How is that not legit. He's going for it again in Berlin. Mark my words. Maybe I know something you don't know...........HMMMMMMMMMMM.
