Sounds like an exciting new chapter in ULTRA running. With caffeine supplements you could probably make it a week.

This sounds like a charity endeavor. Perhaps one of the resident lurkers who participate in endurance scams for "charity" can do this next?
As mentioned, Captain Barclay did this for 1000 hours back in the nineteenth century.
In 2003, there was a Flora 1000 Mile Challenge in which six people attempted to repeat Barclay's 1000 hours and then complete the London Marathon, which coincided with the final hour. Five of them were successful. One of the runners, Shona Crombie-Hicks, did the marathon at the end in 3:08. A couple of years later, without the 1000 hour challenge beforehand, she ran 2:38 to finish sixth in Berlin.
If it had to be 1 Mile within the hour, every hour. You'd get about 1h4xmins rest between if done correct. you could sleep watch tv, eat, take a piss whatever. I bet it could go on a while one your body is trained to rest and go.
Like someone else said, I bet a few weeks
The miles can be slow too
12:00-12:07 1 Mile
12:08-01:50 Rest (1h42 rest)
01:52-02:00 1 Mile
02:00-02:07 1 Mile
02:08-03:50 Rest 1h42 rest)
Repeat
I think physically, most decently trained runners could go indefinitely.
It would be a grind mentally, after a couple months you'd probably be on the verge of a breakdown.
I'm saying 63 days, 4 hours. 1516 miles.
It would be painfully difficult to walk that slowly.
Sounds like pint night philosophizing.
I think it is possible to survive on 45 minute long naps.
You could probably do this for 50 years.
50 x 364 x 24 = 436,800 miles

If you never, ever, ever have a serious illness or injury.
This event has been going since at least 2011.

How far do you think you could run if you had to average 1mph every hour.
The rules: Every hour, you must travel 1 mile on your own two legs. Walk, run, jog, it doesn't matter as long as you do at least 1 mile every hour.
The question: For how many hours (miles) would this be possible?
Read through a few post, rules don't say you can't sleep
So run a mile in 8 minutes sleep for an hour and 1:40 minutes run another 8 minute mile, repeat
This defines ultras.
Go volunteer at a 100 miler and you will see these amazing athletes doing a mile per hour and make it look like the set of the Walking Dead.
