Semenya let the field get way ahead and was effortlessly reeling people in the last 1-200. Smart choice, don't get greedy.
Of course that's true, but fear of negative attention wasn't the only factor.
Semenya was willing to go for the win, but the Illuminati forbade it.
In addition to all the other proof that Semenya is a male are his times for 400m, 800m and 1500m. No woman in history, even loaded with drugs has run those times. They either have fast 400m/800 or fast 800m/1500, never all three like Semenya.
She ran a bad race, that's all. Next time, she'll win!
She simply spent hours watching and analyzing Robby Andrews videos (except for his USA champ video) and she mirrored his tactics.
Likely similar to why Ayana didn't win the 5k the last two years.

I don't know, hard to say, personally I think too much sandbagging over the last while has made her weak (relative to her potential). She likely doesn't work all that hard anymore and let's her testosterone advantage pull her through over 800m but she probably lacks the hard work mileage for the 1500m even though her potential is likely 10 seconds better then her nearest (clean) competitor. I bet with hard work she could get to 3:48 or so and 1:50.
I bet she could be medal capable into her late 40's. Unless of course more XYs get entered.
Force Caster to compete as a man and he will win nothing! Such a disgrace to the sport! I will never watched another race where he or any other dude competes as a women.
As soon as she didn’t win the 1500, I KNEW she was going to win the 800 and was confident enough to bet £10,000 on her to win.
Our bookies are not daft and they also knew she would win hence the odds of only 1/5 on.
So I only won £2000, better than nothing I guess.
The odds for the females running in that race were from 7/1!

Interesting point, one I have thought of also but is seldom mentioned.
Given her natural advantage there is no reason to assign a normal career lifespan to Semenya. I don't know about late 40s but into her 40s seems feasible.
Of course, at that point she's need to be running full out not sandbagging. That would be revealing in itself...to see her spent after an 800 instead of calmly walking around trying to shake hands while everyone else is struggling to recover.
Your position on this is incorrect. It was logical for the fastest 400/800 athlete in 1500m final to race off the pace through 700m. Semenya's height to weight ratio works against Semenya past 1000m. I have stated Semenya is not capable of 1500m faster than 3:57.5. Some or most on LetsRun seem to believe that Semenya's elevated T level makes Semenya super human. Next, someone will state Semenya has sub-14:00 5K potential.
I have to agree. That dude knows he's got a good scam going. He's not going to blow it by getting greedy.

Absolutely. It is all about the money.

Logic is wasted on a lot of you here on letsrun.
I have, in the past, talked about Semenya's stride, hips and pelvic shift suggesting that she is a woman, even if she is, by parts, androgenous.
However, I will break it down in a different way.
The IAAF kept Semenya out of the sport for months while they conducted tests. They decided, after all was said and done, to let Semenya compete.
Now, on this site, we have secret self-appointed sleuths who needle and needle issues for suspected drug cheats. They want them to be tested. Since many of them are not tested, the people here are frustrated.
That makes sense.
However, Semenya HAS been tested and the IAAF findings, whatever they were, stipulated that Semenya could compete. Ergo, she is competing.
At what point does overinflating your ego stop?
If the IAAF says it is okay and if the recent Olympic Committee said it was okay, precisely who are you to say it's not.
This is ridiculous and so are you.
Great response. There's a lot of faux outrage over her.

Utter garbage:-
https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/sport/2017/aug/12/sebastian-coe-iaaf-hyperandrogenismThe IAAF clearly does not think it's ok. Seems like "logic" must be a subjective thing here 😂

You hit quite a delightful level of sanctimony in your post, but most of it was completely wrong.
The IAAF don't want this nonsense in the sport, although it is partly their fault they let things get this bad.
They did all they can (and hopefully will continue to do so) to keep the guys out of the women's events, but their rulings were overturned by CAS.
It wasn't their decision to make, they were forced into it by law. The law which stated that as long as certain criteria were met, men were allowed into the women's races.

That's a good days work but did you shop around for the best odds?

But the nanny state will win on this issue, stopping Caster is discrimination 😂
