Can LRC help me get boots on the ground? Please, I beg you.

Mimi's relay wrote:Also her hands are in an odd position for a runner. Both hands are out in front and level. She doesn't seem to actually move her arms at all. It seems she is running in pain. Maybe someone who has actually tried to transcon can explain her odd form.
I agree that the knee looks awful. Hopefully it's just a bad angle for the photo. We would be able to tell a lot more about her condition if we could see some video of her putting in the 12 minute miles she's been making.
Tim Anderson posted videos today and in them we can see that Mimi can't even go up and down stairs without extreme effort or assistance. This is another piece of evidence that casts great doubt on her even being able to run at 5 mph at all let alone having done that in the mountain passes she supposedly did in the first 20 days. All the verifiable evidence right now says to me that Mimi's Transcon has been a cheated run.

Mimi is flying down the road at better than 5 mph, especially after the exchanges. She is going to finish faster then everyone who has transconed except for Pete.
Based on her 102 strides per minute and 2 foot stride, shown clearly in the videos on her facebook page, she's doing about 26 minute miles, not including the various stops.
She'd need to continue that pace for 13 hours a day, without stops, to reach 30 miles.
For her to be doing double that amount every day is impossible.
There's no doubt in my mind that Mimi's team are not doing the miles they're reporting, and I seriously doubt that they, as a team, are even doing half of that mileage on their feet.
Have you ever run a multi day? Every day is a struggle but 10 minutes in your body forgets and you soldier on.

Except:

> Witness statements
> No one with photographic / video evidence of her not running when she's supposed to be

Do you mean the end of day videos when she's just run 60 miles? Yeah, I run slower at the end of the day than at the start - don't you? Do you even run?
No, the one where she's just beginning her "run" (or hobble in this case).
Oh, the ones that start at 530am. When was the last time you ran at 530am?
5:30am in the Marvelous Morning? No biggie, pretty normal for many.
Yes, we've been cheating and you're on to us.
So I'm coming here to try and mess up your thread.

By "mess up" you mean bring some intelligent dialogue to join in the fake news?

She looks wrecked coming into lunch. I don't see proof of running on these videos but she seems tough as hell for sure. I hope she doesn't permanently injure herself.

Just looked in this thread for the first time. She's probably cheating. They all do.
But in the last video posted, she's doing right around 140 strides per minute. With your number of a 2 ft stride, she's doing 15 minute miles, which is a brisk walk, which is what she looks like she's doing. 26 minute miles is a very slow walk.

lol. as if.

It looks like she injured herself many days ago. Doe she have a doctor on her team? The knee bulging out several inches in the EPSN photo would be of great concern to a real medical professional. I've had lesser knee inflammation and was told by my sports doctor to take some days off until the swelling went down.
Another stop at :31 just now.
