That said, based on the videos I've seen, Mimi might reply, "Tragedy? Just get off your lazy bum and get out there."

Thanks for posting the facebook video. I hadn't seen any of those. Do we have video of Mimi actually running and laying down some of these 11:15 min / miles that the Strava shows? She looked to be walking in the two most recent videos from Anderson.

Now she is averaging 15:45 in her afternoon run? And this is not the steep elevation nor the desert where she was really laying down incredible times.
I'm not accusing her of anything it just seems she objectively is having trouble.
I find 11min/mile for 50+ miles/day for days on end quite amazing (and circumspect?), but maybe an unfolding tragedy.
If Mimi is suffering it will be from the mental side. She chose the shorter route but far more drudgerous. Worse, she has to cross the fly over states; flat long straight roads of nothing to see but telephone poles, fences and farms and the road.

Mimi is now in near walking mode. Sandy has been at a slow pace since the start. Mimi was hammering it in the early days.

Good stuff. But maybe at some point, monotony/simplicity works to mental advantage?
Check this out:
She ran 30 miles at a 12:30 pace at with an elevation increase of 1,000 feet!

That afternoon she did another 27 at just under 13 minute miles with another huge rise.

Just yesterday Mimi was blasting out miles and miles of sub 12s:

Usually only towards the end of the run. People joining you are a much welcome break. Markus might be willing to share give some of his experiences with conquering the mental side after weeks for running with no end in sight.

Maybe we need a multi day plot of speeds or pace to make the picture clear of what changes have occurred.
Bullcrap. She is averaging the same/mile as a few weeks ago. It is all on the strava link. If anyone is going to call this run into question, it won't be from the strava data.

You see what I mean though right? How she flew up that elevation? It's a big contrast between then and today.

Uhh....that's what I've been linking Chief and no, it's not the same. Look at the links I've shown you.
Could be mental, could be physical...
Two weeks ago and plenty of runs averaging 13,14 and even 15 minutes/mile. No significant difference from the last few days you posted.

Mimi is following Sandy V, Sandra V and Pete K, plus one other person.
I do not know if Sandy is following Mimi. Mimi be one of the 54 she is following but not shown by Strava.
Have you run multi-day? I venture to say that there is a HUGE difference between a sub-11.5min/mile and a 15min/mile. One has to go out and jogger-run several miles to comprehend what I'm saying. The gait is differenent. Different physicality is getting taxed as the muscles lock-up from the strain. The aerobic system gets taxed differently.

Her average for that week is 13:36 per mile (check my math). Today's morning run was 4.16 mph or 14:25 per mile and this afternoon she's at 3.70 mph or 16:13 per mile. She has slowed but it could just be a temporary blip.

I couldn't agree more.

15 minute miles are faster than walking and like hobby-jogging in slow motion. Your feet barely leave the ground and that is intentional. You want to minimize the leg stress.

Maybe Gary or Markus can explain why she was running so fast yesterday. It could be she over did it and now needs to take it easy for a bit.
