She DID IT!!! Finished at 1:24 am local time. With a 6:00 am start time (Pacific Time) in SF on 9/11, her official time is 54:16:24 (56 days, 16 hours, 24 minutes).
Are you sure that the local time was 1:24am and not 0:24am?
With my math, it should be 54 days and 15 or 16 hours and 24 minutes.
She started at 6 am PT in San Francisco which would be 9 am ET in New York.
From the per day run summary file on my Google Drive analyzing Sandra's runs, I have her total time as 54. 81 days, or 54 days 19 hours 26 minutes.

Her Garmin has 10:23 and 10:25 PM as two times at the steps. The Garmin maps shows "All times are America/Los Angeles (UTC-8)".

I think you have substract 3 hours from this time since she started at 6 am PT in San Francisco.
I don't think I accounted for time zone changes in my analysis, which is probably where the 2/3 hour difference in our times come from.

Yeah, Strava doesn't provide the raw time stamps, only displaying a localized to the viewer start time and then an array of time increases. So there is likely time zone changes I didn't get. Time is harder than it should be.
Her official stop the tracker time is 1:24:47 AM. Her final 135 mile run was 139.6 miles in 41:11:07 (hrs:min:sec)

Yes, we are sure the local time (Eastern time in NYC) was 1:24 am when she finished (see attached pic). Doing the math, she started at 6:00 am (Pacific Time) in San Fran on 9/11. She finished at 1:24 this morning, Eastern time, which is 10:24 pm Pacific Time on Friday, Nov. 4th. Nov. 3rd was the last full day she ran (Day 54, which ended at 6:00 am on the 4th). So we have 54 days plus whatever she ran from 6:00 am to 10:24 pm yesterday (which is 16 hours, 24 minutes). Thus, her official time was 54 hours, 16 hours, and 24 minutes.

I don't know how to add a picture. But there is a pic of a watch at the finish line that shows Sandy finished at 1:24 am NYC time...

Here is a direct link you can download that photo from. It is the link from the uploaded Strava photo.

I hope that future attempts on theTrans America record copy Sandy's tracking method (SPOT or similar real time combined with watch uploads each day showing cadence too) along with the route which really should become the standard one (Frank Giannino, Marshall Ulrich and Pete all chose it)
Congratulations!
Also of interest is that the final push run started on Sandy Run Road in PA.

Also interesting to note is that Sandy completed 2800 miles in 49 days and ~11 hours. The 2800 miles is the minimum distance Guinness requires for a Run Across America. The two records she topped were:
Run Across America World Record — Guinness
Mavis Hutchinson age 53
- 2,871 miles in 69 days 2 hours 40 minutes in 1979.
- Los Angeles to New York. Solo run.
Run Across America World Record — Trans-America Foot Race
Lorna Michael age 34
- 2,912.4 miles in 64 days in 1993. (63 days X hours elapsed time)
- Los Angeles to New York
- The Trans-America Foot Race was a stage run event with 6 finishers all ending on run day 64.

There were actually two 1:24 am NYC times today. ;)
Sandy finished in the first 1:24am (EDT), prior to the clock rollback to EST.
