It's cloudy. Nothing yet.
Very cloudy and gloomy in twin cities metro area right now
Peaked 45 minutes ago. I thought 92% would be darker, but it was noticeable.
We're only getting a partial one in DC
I'm in the path of totality and it was super cool!!
Pictures won't quite do it justice.
It broke through the clouds long enough to be able to see it with the viewing box we made. Those viewing boxes don't work very well. Ours was 38 inches deep and still the image was only about 10mm across. It needs a lens.
Here in Central FL clouds have cleared and it's about 50% at 2:35. I'm using 8 old photograph negatives (tells you how old I am) and works well.
My area was at 99.39% according to the NASA website...meh, a bit over hyped.
At 1:08 we were to get 99% eclipse. Rained earlier in day, partly cloudy sky.
At 1:00 whispy cloud covered sky, but able to use glasses and see through to the eclipse.
1:03 cicadas started chirping and street lights game on. Seemed like dusk.
1:04 - 1: 07 patch clouds hide sun--got peeks now and then and it was pretty neat.
1:08 cloud moved just for a minute and able to look without glasses at sky and see just a slight white point in the sky.
1:09 on--cloudy as hell.
About 75% here. We had a telescope with sun filter in the parking lot. One guy is recording a time lapse video. Some scattered clouds, but mostly not an issue and clear view at peak.
Looks a little dimmer at my window at work, but I've got work to do.
We got 96%. My coworker and I say a bunch of people in the courtyard, so we went out. In the eclipse glasses that two ladies were passing around, we saw the sliver getting smaller and smaller, but it didn't get noticeably darker outside. It peaked about 2:30 here, and we watched for a few minutes after and went back in. It was a great diversion from work, and the ladies with the glasses were a hoot. If I were at home I probably wouldn't have watched it.

I am in a 97% area and thought it would be a LOT darker. It was noticeable but looked like early evening for just a few minutes.
Slightly disappointed.
91% here. Peeked through the clouds. Pretty cool spectacle.
Get a life people.
I was in the path of totality. Saw the ring in the sky. Very cool.
I was in totality and it didn't get dark until right before (like 10 seconds or less) before the total eclipse started. Cicadas and all the dusk-time bugs starting making noise and it looked like it was about 30 minutes after sunset in a normal evening. It was pretty amazing I have to admit.
For anyone who has seen the movie, The Ring, it looked like what the light looked like as it was peaking out around the edges of the cover of the well as it was being closed.
It was pretty cool. The clouds parted enough right around the time of totality to be able to have some good looks at it through the glasses. Got pretty dark and crickets were chirping.
In the 80% zone. It was ok, nothing spectacular.
