If it wasn't clear already (and it certainly was) this post alone shows that you understand absolutely nothing about the mentality of the British.

As long as he's not on Celebrity Big Brother...

Sure, the prison version. The dancing will be in the showers trying to get away from the prisoners. The bakeoff will be when cornered by a prison gang.

Have you forgotten? Mo is British when he wins, and Somali when he loses ;)

They didn't collapse on the track and cry in front of a yuge crowd while cameras were rolling and televising the cry.

Churchill will lose the British Empire to defeat Mo, the enemy.
If he gets fat sunburned and starts drunkenly groping b list celebrities they'll make him a knight or a Lord if they've already knighted him.

Nothing wrong with emotion.
Britain celebrated, Kenya cried
??
If Mo is proven to have used PEDS, the same will happen to him that happened to Lance. It was never about Lance losing. The comparison only shows that Americans do not support their dopers--although I admit that football is an exception and some few do support Gatlin over ten years after getting his 2nd suspension.
Bring it, Brits!

Neither do I, but I can still place a bet. And I bet El Keniano will be correct after a few years. Evils of human nature ftw.

The colonial experience has left you cynical.

El keniano was outed as an Americano
Yeah I'm not getting this either. Some of the Brits already turned on him in 2009 when he started winning, maybe because he started winning, and some Brits think that winning is simply "not on" for the Brits.I'm not getting your comparison with Lance either. Doping is cheating. This should be cause for the public turning. Losing a race is not. But even with Lance, before he confessed, America was already split, between believing the dream, and not, as early as Lemond's 2001 comment, when the link between Armstrong and Ferrari became known. Once he confessed, many, but not all (because everyone was doing the same thing) finally turned on him, after realising that everything since 1995 was fake, and that he did some pretty nasty things to his teammates, competitors, friends, employees, and even tainting the legacy of a former American hero and American pioneer in the grand tours.
