NBC went long
Bolt faked it because he knew he would lose

FFS there's not a conspiracy for every result.

It kind of looked that way because he was walking normally by the time he exited the stadium. But he might have experienced a muscle cramp.

I f*cking knew this would be said. Shut the f*ck up. I don't even like bolt but the imbeciles like you make me give him more credit. Seriously, the lack of class on Letsrun is predictable but toxic.
Wake up to reality kid. Runners admit they do this.
Jamaica wouldn't have placed.

Except he's still limping.
Such morons.

Valuable to have Felix's experience and calming effect upon the relay team even though she might no longer be the fastest. She ran an excellent 2nd leg
That's BS. Stevens and Duncan ran more 4x1 exchanges in college than Felix did her whole life. In terms of championship experience, the future of US sprinting needs to gain the experience so 2020 isn't a disaster. There is NO reason the second best US 400 runner should be running the 4x1 other than for her name. It's pure favoritism. In reality, you are risking hurting her for the 4x4 where she is more valuable.
So Bolt is still walking around even tho he's 'injured' ... yeah right.
Team GB's 100m bests seem pretty weak by comparison. In order, 9.96, 10.14, 9.97, 9.99

I disagree with you. They had Felix, with years of experience with the championship pressure, sandwiched between the two least experienced runners on the team and those two hand-offs (and Felix's run) were close to flawless. You can't argue against a gold medal. This isn't a training event for the future. The qualifying rounds is where you give the younger sprinters championship experience, which is what occurred.

I dunno...that looked like a pretty legit injury. He almost hurt himself trying to stop.

Actually I don't see how anyone would conclude that he wasn't faking. I mean, it was a pretty obvious fake job. He took the baton after two other guys saw them flying away as he started and knew he didn't have what he needed to catch them. So he did the predictable fake job. "injury" lets him save a little face in the macho sprinting world. Plus it can be retroactively applied as an excuse for his 100 meter Bronze.
"you know, Bolt's hammy has only been 70-75% all year. it really showed in that 100 meters but the two relay races in one day were just the straw the broke the camel's back. all considered, probably the most impressive and heroic effort that we've seen from Bolt to date. I mean, Bronze in the 100 on a hammy that is barely 50%..."

Yeah no one has ever faked a limp. Btw. He switched the "injured" leg

Love how Vetter takes that last throw even though he didn't need to at all, being in first place on the final attempt of the competition. And it's still an 87.71!
Javelin medalists Vetter, Vadlejch, and Frydrych, with Rohler in fourth.
Why wouldn't he take the last throw? Literally nothing to lose at that point.
Haha, Bolt.
Such an obvious fake injury.
Suddenly his other leg is injured???
Why do they call that the third fastest time? I can find 13 faster
